| Ridin'There are rumors that gas prices are to hit $4 this summer, so last Friday I bought a bicycle. It's pretty sweet. Two wheels, pedals, brakes. Fuckin' a.
So this whole week I decided to ride my bike to work instead of drive. It's really close, so it's an easy ride. On the way to work it's downhill, but coming back is a slight grade. I've been driving this route for close to a year now, but it's not until you're using your own quads to push your fat ass around that you notice those types of things.
The downhill-ness of the route going TO the office really helps with not being a sweaty bastard when I arrive at work. Instead I arrive just slightly moist, which is quickly fixed after a drink of water and a paper towel pat down. Clam hates that word: MOIST.
Feels good to get a bit of excercise in the morning and to know that I'm not polluting or spending money on fuel. That's right, I'm giving a hoot. |
