Thursday, March 15, 2007 Puerto Rico was fun. I came back with a nice tan. I wish i brought a Spanish/English dictionary w/ me on the trip. My limited Spanish vocabularies can only help me get breakfast at the local bakery. I learned how to cross the streets in PR. Just walk and don't look at the cars when crossing the streets. The cars will eventually stop for you. It was very scary at first, but i became a pro on the second day. Stay at Andalucia, a guest house in Ocean Park,San Juan. The owner is very friendly and cozy environment. Went to visit a few places which includes the castle in Old San Juan, the rain forest (so much exercise that day by walking up the trails), Ave of Isla Verde. Went to the beach everyday since it's only two blocks from the guest house. there are some pics from the trip. Matthew is getting big these days.. he's only 1 1/2 months old, but he sure does not look like it. This is wat i do to him when i have too much time on hand. hehe.. doesn't he look studious w/ those glasses?? lol he was one month old then, look at this cake.. that thing weights 8lbs..
