Without You
By Charlie Wilson
see related

He is back!

After two long months of not seeing him, he came back from his mission.

And I am happy.

...happy as a child is happy to receive an ice cream after having his tooth removed.

...happy as the students are happy when classes are suspended.

...happy as the bees are happy to see a big number of pollen.

...happy as a girl should be after being apart from her boyfriend for what seemed like eternity.

And now my Christmas is finally complete.

My Thank-You List

Since I cannot personally thank you through SMS, I hope this will do.

My baby, Adrian, who bugged his friends just to greet me. I love you, bi. I truly appreciate it! That was so sweet of you. I'll be coming  home soon. Looking forward to December so that I can finally see you. I love you. Thank you for finally expressing you feelings. Now I know. I love you again and again.

Ate Ling and Kuya Bong for keeping me here in Canada and for spending their money while I'm here.

My HS friends who were present on my surprise despedida/birthday party: Kat, Gengen, Jenny, Beltz, Tel, Sai, Diane, Marla, Aldric, Migs, Jason, Maurice, Romeo, Roy, Benjo, Tony.

....and for those who have greeted me: Raissa, Saludsky, Estiboy, Herminio, Marc Aubord, Eves, Macon, Shayne.

For my MC friends who greeted me on my birthday: Lei, Vanessa, Kris, Ayie, Rio, Tinapie, Joanne, Heynah.

For Adrian's friends: Marianne Dasig, Mary, Jing, Paw.

My family: Ate Itet, Liam, Kuya Ian, April, Mama, Papa.

For Tita Azon who called from Pennsylvania to greet me.

Miss Lim, for her greeting. I truly appreciate that she remembered.

Madel Delos Santos for surprisingly greeting me.

And for those who have forgotten, I know you have greeted me before hand. Don't worry, you need not text me to let me know you remember me. Thanks by the way.

twenTEEN...

I am now 20!!!

Who would have guessed that the little girl who was called negra, with a big forehead and very curly hair is already twenTEEN. Hehehe!

It still amazes me when I realize that I am turning into a young lady. To be called a lady or women still gives me chills because I still consider myself as a sixteen-year-old high school student, but more mature I guess. So for now I'll stick with the title young lady. Hehehe!

This year has been amazing for me. Though not all perfect but I can say it turned out to be wonderful, more than I could have expected. Thank You, Lord. Everything I owe to you.

When I woke up today, I just woke up like I used to each and every day.  Upon seeing the messages that flooded, I learned that it was my birthday. Silly me.

I have many things to be thankful for:

I have a very loving, supportive, fun - now extended- family.

I have a fun, though far barkada "Komiteh." Distance is but a number for us.

I have wonderful, supportive, kalog and sometimes jologs friends.

For the first time in my three years in college, I have not had a fever this semester.. even once.

I have a boyfriend who loves me very much... which I thought I would never have in my entire college life.. especially since he is my ex-boyfriend.

I became the director for our CA-34.1 Theatre Arts Class final production and I also played a guy, something I thought I would not give justice.

My first out-of-the-country trip alone.. and as part of the MC delegation.

I celebrated my 20th birthday here in Canada.. and it was my first time to fly alone in an international flight.

I am a Dean's Lister - with an average of 4.78.

I have new found friends with my new block - Block 6.

Our family has Liam, our little prince.

I now own my first pair of boots, though not a leather one.

My HS friends threw me a surprise Despedida/Birthday party which alsmost half of the class participated to.

I learned to love again.

There are so many things that I am grateful for, more than I can include here. When I woke up, that was the first thing I did - count my blessings and thank the One who made these all possible.

This year I saw myself doubting my capabilities, doubting my relationship with others, doubting myself. But still He gave me strength and made things 100 million times more wonderful. I learned that He will help you if you lift all up to Him.

This year was extraordinary. Thank you God.
