| hey guys! so incredibly sorry it's been so long. my computer keeps acting up and i've been insanely busy. happy new year though!!! i'm still working at starbucks inside a safeway. i really enjoy it. and i took on more responsibility as the safety coodinator for the whole store. that's been interesting! :) i was really sick around christmas, but i'm doing good now. i had fun at kara's wedding...it was weird though. i still can't believe that she's married. i'm extremely excited for my birthday, because i'm going to be 20. i'm done being a teenager!!! at the same time it's way weird to be this old. oh well. my family is doing good. we might be moving to another town in oregon, because baba's job ends at glisan street baptist church this summer. but he's candidating at a church in silverton the 10th annd 17th of february. so pray for that. i still don't know if i will move with them or not. i'm in the process of applying to two different schools. multnomah bible college and southwestern college. one's in portland and the others in pheonix. i have a huge heart for africa in general but especially kenya. (obviously) but i don't know what do with that. i have a ton of passion and a huge desire to help, but haven't found a direction to go. i think i'm going to end up studying bible and taking some courses designed for counseling. i'd love to work with tcks and see if i could help prevent some of the crap that i had to deal with. but we'll see where all that goes. so basically, i'm way busy...no boyfriend yet. but i'm fine with it. i do need prayer for help in being a good witness to some of my friends. anyways, hopefully i'll get a chance to write more regularly. and in closing i just have to say that i totally agree with kristina. I HATE WINTER AND COLD!!!! and weather is one of the things that i question god about daily. seriously...i'm dieing over here. someone come save me and take me to a tropical place!!! kenya would be nice right now... ;) anyways, i've been praying for you guys and think about you more often than you probably know. hope you have a great day!!!

| hi peoples! so sorry my computer is retarded. i've been doing good. i'm still just working babysitting jobs but it helps a little bit. our family needs prayer as sometime in the next 6 months, we might move again. baba's job will probably be over this summer and i'm not sure if i will go with them or not. i really need pray cause i need to get my license and i'm scared out of my wits. i'm not sure why but i am... life is ok. i'm still volunteering, doing odd jobs, helping my mom...all that stuff. we got a dog after christmas. i don't know if i told you or not. his name is monte and unfortunately its a standard poodle. i'm a huge cat person but monte's ok i guess. he's pretty cute i have to say and for only being 7 months pretty well behaved. that has made life more interesting!! :) hope ya'll are doing good. i've missed talking to you guys but maybe one of these days my computer will work. know i pray for you still and if you leave a comment i do see it and i also get to see what you post. i'm just not able to respond. let me know how you guys are and if there's anything specific i should pray for. have a great day! much love, cass | | |
| so sorry i haven't been in touch. my computer browser is old and won't support xanga anymore. i haven't forgotten you guys. i still pray for you and love ya'll. but i can't post anything unless i'm on a different computer. right now i'm doing ok. still looking for a job, still bored. volunteering at my church helps and i'm having fun. please pray that i will continue to have an upbeat attitude, that i won't get discouraged and that God will find a use for me whereever i am. i've been really homesick lately and last night i had a huge self-pity party. which i'm not proud of. so please pray that god will see fit to bring a friend into my life who cares enough to let me spill my heart to. cause right now i'm pretty isolated in those shallow, fun-because-i-don't-know-very-well friendships. hope this all makes sense! love you guys, hopefully ill be able to get my browser fixed soon. gotta' go! love, cass | | |
