| | Gasoline....The drug of choiceAfter reading Mike's blog on "don't buy gas on this day", it got me thinking about the oil business....
I did the math and at $3/gallon here's where your money goes roughly:
(59%) $1.77 - black gold (pure and uncut)
(20%) $0.60 - Uncle Sam (b/c you can't sell on his turf w/o approval)
(11%) $0.33 - Shipping and "pushing" the product
(10%) $0.30 - refining (cutting)
Then the seller usually throws a few pennies on the price to make their profit.
Now
I'm no street pharmicist, but when you break it down like that then it
looks like the US imports the most "drugs" out of any cartel I've ever
heard of.
