  • haven't updated here for ages...

I miss the old days so much today~I was talking to someone that I dun know on the phone about the business, but the voice was so familiar...like I was talking to someone that I've known for life long.

it's weird....I've gotta hang out more......am I under too much stress recently? anyways, there it comes the long weekend. I've booked my annual leave today, and it was approved: 11days during the Christmas! This time, I'll try to pass the last exam and get the damn driving licence

  • I like it

Just wanna express how much I like this new job. Not only the job nature itself, but the environment surrounding me. I feel lucky to accidently get the chance to work on the trading flr. And I feel lucky to have my nice, patient patient patient direct manager. I know nothing and he basically teaches me everything from zero. And he needs to answer all of my stupid questions......haha......I also feel lucky to have these nice ppl in my team. Are they just coincidences?

It's wierd that I feel like I am in the states or somewhere in Europe during the day and back to hong kong after work. heh.....better than none.

As a plus, I like those drinks in the fridge and the Friday pizzas. The only bad thing is I feel liek shopping after work, especially when I am alone. Everytime I pass by the Mannings I get in and grab something. The worst thing is, I sucessfully pulled myself back from the thought of shopping in Causeway Bay or Mong Kok when the train leaves central......but when I eventually get to Hang Hau, I went straight to the small shopping mall there and spent all the $$ that I earn for two days. Facts are hard to escape........Poor nancy worked for nothing for two days.............

Plan for next week: get my old frds out to have lunch.

  • Move on

I have been thinking about what I really want since yesterday, even though I kept myself busy. I was hit by an email from a prof. of USC telling me that he would like to support me with his new funding. I have the I-20 in my hand long ago but I never thought I could have a chance to use it. Going to the states to have a higher degree has long been my plan. But a little surprise came in the middle from Credit Suisse and I grapped that opportunity.

I like living in the states. I like the ppl there. But I also enjoy a well-paid job in a multinational comp and living in a place where I belong or I will belong to. Even though I havent start working, I feel it is the kind of job that I will long for after my graduation.

Okie......no more nonsense. I wrote to the prof. and I hope this opportunity will soon get to some lucky gal/guy. I will start working next Mon. Looking forward~

Thanks those guys who talked to me on AIM, who still remember me after an entire year. I feel so sweet.
