It's the last two weeks of summer and I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed. It's like July was super boring and dull and everything interesting is occurring in August. Particularly in these last two weeks. I still have quite a lot of summer reading to do. Like I'm only a third of the way through the Odyssey. Surprisingly, I like the book a lot, but it's just really long. Also, next week I'm having a birthday party and I haven't done anything for it except invite people. So I really have to get that together..Also, on the 25th I'm getting my driver's license!! I also have to clean my ridiculously messy room. And go clothes shopping for school. And during all this I have work of course. Oh, and my cousin Jessie is here for a week or two so I can't completely ignore her. Somewhere between all of this I want to try to go to the boardwalk and beach and hang out with people and just relax.

Is there any possible way summer could be extended? I just feel rushed and overwhelmed with everything that's going on.

summer is finally here.

It's been off to a pretty good start. I went to my sister's middle school graduation on Tuesday. It was very obvious that the adminstration likes her class better than they did mine. But considering the things we did, its understandable.

Wednesday I went to work and got out an hour early because of the rain so that was nice.

Yesterday Katy and I went to Fuji's for lunch. It was great to hang out with her. Then we went and ambushed Saba with an unexpected visit. She was cleaning, of course, but she let us in anyway. After she finished cleaning, we played some Rock Band which was great. I am an amazing Rock Band singer lol.

Later Saba and her brother and her mother and I went to the boardwalk. Saba had her first polish water ice lol. She seriously needs to get out more. We went on the rides at Wonderland. It felt strange to be there, but not working there lol.

Today I basically stayed home because my mom was coming back from Asia and my dad wouldn't let me go to Taz's for illegal movie day. I'm still a little mad I missed it. But it's only the beginning of summer so I'm sure there will be many more illegal movie nights to come.

Hmm so I made my permenant summer work schedule:

Sunday: 6-12 (night)
Monday: off
Tuesday: off
Wednesday: 12-12 (noon to midnight, aka double shift)
Thursday: 6-12 (night)
Friday: off
Saturday: 12-6 (day)

I basically am going to get 30ish hours of work in a week (aka about 5 shifts) but in 4 days. I don't mind doing one double a week if that means getting the extra day off.

So once again, on the last day of school, I fiddled with my senior schedule. So here is the final version (hopefully)

Speaking of senior schedule, I am officially a senior!!!! =)

At the graduation yesterday, the salutarian (sp?) pulled another kareem elnahal..aka straying away from the approved speech to criticize the school. I thought it sucked they cut the mic off and basically didn't give her free speech. Even if I only half agreed with what she was going to say, she still should have had the right to free speech.

So far summer is off to a pretty good start. I can't believe that just at the beginning of this week I was still taking finals. That seems like forever ago.

So I was thinking maybe I should call him and we should hang out. But I don't know, would he think that's weird? He shouldn't, he's the one who said he wanted to be friends with me.

That's what today is. I took the day off from school since I was so tired from all the dress rehersals. From like the last week of february to yesterday, I had been in school every single day including weekends. Today we don't have anything so I decided to not to go to school. I think half of the cast is probably skipping. Tomorrow is opening night. I'm pretty excited. No matter how annoying/long rehersals are, performances are always fun. So are the cast parties =)

Monday is going to be really strange though, when the show is over. I don't know what going home at a normal time feels like anymore lol.

I think this year is going by super fast. The end of next week is spring break! Then there's only a month and a week or so of real work because after the AP tests everything becomes wayyyy easier. I remember last year in history all we did was watched movies.

speaking of last year's history, I saw mrs harlan on monday. she came to see the dress rehersal since she can't see the show. she was talking about going to washington for the cherry blossom festival lol. and she was wearing an obama shirt lol
