I have been up to so many things lately, i don't even know where to start!

Anyway recently i've been thinking of going for piano lessons twice a week. I won't mind being an eccentric (and very good, i shall say) pianist in the future - but being good requires a lot of hard work. And I was just thinking of learning the blues as well. There are so many things that i would like to do, you know, planning out my whole life. But i know that my plans won't exactly work out best for me. And I'm honestly afraid of what's going to happen in the future and of the coming As. It's like whenever any sec 4 says that they're afraid of their O levels, it'll just make me feel like screaming back, "OH NO! I'M TAKING MY A LEVELS THIS YEAR!" and i get so freaked out and shit.

Maybe i've come to a point where i'm doubting my own abilities. I know i should have the confidence. But i just can't stop looking at my circumstances and just being like that. And i really really really NEEEEEED SOME ADJUSTMENTS.

Hello!

I had swim PE today. Wasn't that exciting. But Jacq, Ruishan and I were laughing like mad. Wish Joanna had came with us! I wasn't too happy with bangining my head into the pool wall - all the chemistry stuff that i had crammed for the chem test today would be gone! - and i wasn't too happy with the chlorine smell in my hair. ughhhh. I hope i pass my chem test, though chances are slim!

Chinese new year is coming and i'm really happy there's NO SCHOOL. though i have upcoming tests and homework to finish :( What a BORE!

Anyway I uploaded a million and one photos but the stupid xanga photomanager is lagging. Will post it soon. gdnight!

Here are some facts about ostriches. I think they're really cute. :)

Ostriches are dinosaurs! - Ostriches skeletons and fossils which date back over 120 million years have been found!
Ostriches have one of the most advanced immune systems known to mankind.
I KNOW YOU KNOW THIS ONE - they run really really fast (like second next to the cheetah)! - so don't try to compete with an ostrich, or make an ostrich mad!
Contrary to popular belief, they DO NOT bury their head in sand.
Oh ya, their eyes, are 2 inches of width. pretty HUGE huh. better to see little red riding hood with.

Sometimes, i can't help but think we are all full of shit. Okay, not all of us. I'm sure there are some really serious people out there who are almost, almost incapable of making any jokes or laughing at nothing, or laughing at all. and then again there are some really crazy people who laughs at everything. Maybe somehow, in that shit we can find a diamond. a genuine diamond. something precious. something that is worth listening to. and reading.

Crap. school has zapped everything out of me, i don't think i'm writing sense! I have officially broke three resolutions this month.

The very first one - i shall not take a cab unless in a hurry or emergency - was broken in the first week! I was completely unaware!
The second one - i shall not eat out more than once a month - was broken when i had a second meal out with naomi and a third meal out with the cheryls and meng (yesterday).
The third one - no shopping in january - was broken yesterday when i bought shoes from river island. Thank God i still kept the "no spending above $50 on an item" cause the shoe was on the dot - $50.

Life is unbearably, life. Sometimes you just want to grab hold of something, anything and strangle it.

I can't upload my photos from Japan. It'll take far too long to select and upload. We took a total of 1000 pictures. Did i mention that before? haha. Well. There are just too many. But i really loved it when i was totally as 'free as a bird', with no worries in mind, just enjoying myself, exploring the old and traditional japanese houses with their trap doors and hidden pathways. You know those places where ninjas come out of no where? Yea. Those places.

I've been writing shit essays for the past three days. I don't really have a knack of writing essays. I have too many ideas, which i have no idea how to put things into place. Tsk. Anyways, I just saw a show about penguins on Animal Planet. So cute. So i shall put up some interesting facts about penguins:

1. They take naps in the water!
2. They use sign language to talk (eg. waving their flippers, move their heads)
3. They eat snow as source of fresh water.

And i'm nursing another bruise from fencing again. this time it's JOSHUA who did it.

It is a totally new year, like, ever since almost two weeks ago! I decided that i want to really be focused in my studies, fencing and piano, so i can't get so distracted or caught up with all the other stuff around me. Anyway, I guess i've became more introverted last year, not that i'm naturally introverted in the first place. But sometimes people aren't that friendly. Once bitten, twice shy. I guess it's something i've got to keep battling. But either than that, i'm really blessed to have such good friends around me, and i don't really need more, but i guess it is inevitable to have people still coming into your life just temporarily. So how do you know who to keep as your lifelong friends? Someone whom you would still get along after ten years, even when your lives are totally different and less innocent?

Anyways, i've got competition tomorrow. Hope i don't choke. Hope Amanda doesn't choke! Hope i won't get injured so badly. I've been trying to recover from the bruises i've got from training, most of them at the areas where it's off target - therefore there is less protection (like, your arms, or your legs), and most of the bruises i've got are from CHIN RUISHAN. It feels as if i've been shot at four times with a bullet proof vest on. I have 4 below my collar bone, 3 at the thigh, 2 on the left arm, 1 on the right. Pretty dangerous sport huh?

And come to think of it, i really enjoyed japan. I even made friends with this japanese girl who works in the hotel. I guess i'm really fortunate that i don't have to work at this age yet.

My grand aunt passed away a few days ago. It's sad, cause i don't know if she had accepted Christ before. I really don't know where she might be going. When the few people chanting the teachings of Bhudda during the funeral today, my mind felt like exploding - i felt like walking out and getting some air, but that would have been disrespectful. And they had to repeat it three times. I'm not too sure about the tradition of Bhuddist funerals and i certainly don't understand it. I just feel that life's too short, too fragile, too fast. Funerals happen everyday. But i just wished that these people would have believed and accepted so that they would know what peace and joy really is.

Hello. I would just like to say that Internet Explorer sucks. it has been giving me so much shit problems - ohmygosh Mozilla Firefox is so much better. It's really high time since i changed! Anyways, I can't wait to get a Mac, because it's so white and cool. hahaha. right. but i'm such a mac idiot. I didn't know how to shut it down at first.

So it's going to be a whole new year soon - in just a little more than one day. It'll be BACK TO SCHOOL.

and by the time you know it, A LEVELS. and then your whole year is done, and you'll see me trying to classify 2009 again. I can't wait to work as a baker. But it'll be cooler if i could find a job which has anything to do with fashion.

Tsk. If life could get anymore ordained by such an education system! I wish not to do things blindly.
