| wow it has been awhile since i have updated. Not to much goign on right now. just got back from being underway or out to sea. it was alright. a different experience. Have been in the Navy a year now. it is crazy thinking about it. i do believe though it was the right choice to have made. it has been difficult btu i would n't be here if i wasn't supposed to be. Have had quite a few things put a bump in th eroad but God has been there and will continue being there and i am so grateful because with out Him i know i could not have made it this far. Will be in port for a few more weeks before we head back out. it is nice to beon land again. Haven't donetoo much just go to the mall and catchingup on movies. So far since been back have seen War, Rush Hour 3 and Superbad. It is crazy not have been to in touch with the world for a month and half. bt i guess welcome to the military. being out to sea i don't even know what i have missed and has gone on. Crazyness. Well i am going to get off of here it is late and i have a retirement ceremony i am apart of tomorrow. I am part of the honor guard! so i need to get some sleep. Good night everyone well i guess morning now. |

| Bibles and Cell Phones
I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone.
What if we carried it around in our purse or pocket? What if we turned around to get it if we forgot it? What if we flipped through it several times a day? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it? What if we gave it to kids as gifts? What if we used it when we traveled? What if we used it in case of emergency? What if we upgraded it to the latest version? This is something to make you go... hmmmmm... where is my Bible?
Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't ever have to worry about our Bible being disconnected. Jesus Christ has already paid the bill.

| If you walk by faith VERY TRUE STORY AND LIFE LESSON* One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a classroom. The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children. The teacher asked a little boy. TEACHER: Tommy do you see the tree outside? TOMMY: Yes. TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass outside? TOMMY: Yes. TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky. TOMMY: Okay.(He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky. TEACHER: Did you see God? TOMMY: No. TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see God because he isn't there! He doesn't exist. A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions. The teacher agreed and the little girl asked: LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the tree outside? TOMMY: Yes. LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass outside? TOMMY: Yessssss (getting tired of the questions by this time). LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky? TOMMY: Yessssss LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the teacher? TOMMY: Yes LITTLE GIRL: Do you see her brain? TOMMY: No LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we were taught today in school, she must not have one!
If you walk by faith and not by sight and believe in God repost this!!! |
