it's time again. half day fridays are back...with a few changes. this year, i'm working longer hours during the week and taking the whole friday off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh...so amazing!!

there's nothing like a faulty immune system to jerk a knot in your tail. i spent a blessed four days with the mercy of st. john (who isn't all that merciful...just so you know) in translation, i was in the hospital (st. john's mercy)...it was no fun. i have bruises all up and down my arms from vicious lab people stabbing me with needles. i was also awakened every half hour through the night by either the nurses or my lovely (insane...pain medication addicted...diaharrea having) roommate. it was fantastic. the diagnosis...extreme dehydration and life-threatening potassium and hemoglobin levels. nothing like hearing that. what do you think?! so i'm recouping at my parents' house for the next three weeks. popsicles and gatorade...coming out my nose i think...

as for the apartment LOVE IT!!!!! the move went well. i survived and having my own place is a beautiful thing.

i am now 27. i was mistaken for 18 two days ago...blessed.

one more thing...i am done with winter. ok? ok.

now that you are sufficiently updated...i'll try to be better at this game...more to come...

saturday is moving day. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

my apartment is almost all in boxes, people are lined up to help, hopefully we'll have good weather and no mishaps.

there are many not so fun things that come with having crohn's disease. my least favorite to date is the fact that i have a weak immune system and tend to pick up every little cold and flu that goes around. it doesn't help that i work in a basement with bad venthilation and probably every mold known to man beneath the carpet and behind the walls. and everyone in my office seems to be suffering from or getting over something. that being said...

i am sick. i hate being sick. it's so frustrating. coughing and snotting and tiredness that just won't stop. and meds that just make you feel jittery and loopy.

deep breath in...and out...ok. life back in order. i hate those stinkin' panic moments that we fall into. they are stupid. and that's all about that i'm going to say about that.

yes, i am moving, however not far. i'm just transferring to a one bedroom apartment in my same apartment complex. i've lived there for 2 years and love everything (almost) about it. it's just time for me to have a place all my own. so, i am doing that. money will be tight...but let's face it...doesn't money seem to be tight whatever our situation?

so here's the deal. my lease is up the 31st. my apt manager told me yesterday that i will be able to get into the new place by then. exciting.

welp, enough for now. i need to get back to putting in some applications.
