ok so this past week we shot a video. we had an image of what we wanted for the direction of the video and all the shots and everything. we planned it out, wrote the script, storyboarded it and everything. so we were filming, one guy, we were kinda having problems with, like nothing personal, i love the guy, but his acting wasnt great. well he wanted to do what he thought would be goodfor the movie. us as the group, knew that what he wanted wouldnt be as great, being the fact that all his previous ideas didnt turn out. so in reflection, us as a group basically shut down every idea he had.

something that i learned was that even if we think we knwo the outcome, dont totally go into shutdown mode, bc you have your own mindset. Let him express his ideas no matter how lame his others were.
