photos

I'm aggravated because I cannot find my camera. I can't remember where I last placed it.

I'm going to New York to visit a close friend of mine, Janie. She recently moved there so I'm just going to go and make it feel a little comfortable for her.

I will return in no time.

Choices

One question: Is there a choice/decision you made that was a big mistake?

Another question: What's the best choice/decision you made so far?

MY TOP FAVES

This is by far the best mascara for cheap, Maybelline Lash Stylist. But if you feel like splurging.. It's gotta be Benefit's Bad Gal Lash.

Now, I do enjoy putting on powder eye shadow, but I also use cream eye shadows and both have their quirks. I buy the Wild Orchids and it's universal for me. I will eventually do a tutorial when I have time. But to save mollahs, just purchase the pallete with about 10-15 eye shadows for $10 instead of purchasing the one (includes 4 shades) for $5.

When it comes to eye-liners. I think splurging is not a good idea for eye-liners. They all do their work, but the best I found (CHEAP) is Rimmel's. It goes on soft and not clumpy. I LOVE BARGINS.

Seriously, if you have trouble finding the "PERFECT" powder for your face, end the fuss with Bare Minerals. I know it's quite a bit of money ($70), but trust me... It has saved me so much money. I usually buy like 3 different kinds of products just for powder and keep purchasing powders since I have multicolored spots on my face.

I do have a darker complexion so I use Medium Tan. But last time i went back to get a trail set, the lady said i was "fairly light".. I do think that they tend to categorize all "asians" in that group. So ask for Medium tan or even beige or go up a level especially since summer is near.

For all the right reasons: it's natural looking, it's quick to apply, it helps your skin, gives you a natural glow, saves you time with trying to find the perfect powder and it will look good on you!

You can find Bare Minerals at a Bare Mineral Store, Sephora or their website.

Note: I am not a spokesperson for Bare Minerals. It just really works.

Please if you do decide to purchase or just try it next time at a store and let me know if you do like it.

This is what comes in the Trial size minus the blue pouch.

I LOVE doing makeup. So in the next few entries, I will teach you what I've learned through experience. I'm also getting a camera soon so...... I hope to post pics of what-to-do and what-not-to-do.

Stay tuned!
