I'm bringing Xanga back - drop a comment if you're with me!

My friend wonders if she is valuable in the cause of Christ.  I want her to know she is valuable to me.  She has such a giving heart that she has taught me much about giving.  She has walked many paths in this life, most of them uphill, many of them lonely and difficult.  But her heart remains willing to go further for the love she has for Christ.

 

You are valuable to me.  I see the questions behind your eyes…

 

”Am I doing enough?”

 

“Am I doing this right?”

 

“Does anyone need me?”

 

And perhaps the biggest question:

 

“Why do you love me, God?” 

 

I want to gather you in my arms like a sister and say softly,

 

“You are important.  You are valuable.  Your love for others is so evident.  Keep the faith.”

 

And I know, this is a time for quiet, for stillness, I hope you spend time with your Daddy God and allow him to hold you close.  Renew.  Refresh. 

 

Peace of Christ, my dear sister.  Rest awhile. 

So, the trip to Boston was only to the airport...planes were delayed...one student was lost for 30 minutes and then found again (in a sense, he never boarded the plane for some reason)...one student with lost luggage...what a day!!  I returned home around 2 am and was up at 6:30.  I had computer lab duty all night tonight...listened to a German comedian...great laugh but didn't understand a single joke!  The students are great!

Tomorrow...more of the same.  Oh, and the name my home room chose for our team?  SPEAK ENGLISH!  (of course!)
