... love's not time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks within his bending sickle's compass come; love alters not with his brief hours and weeks, but bears it out even to the edge of doom. ...

What is your dream job and why?

My dream job is to be a housewife/mom.  It's so unappreciated yet one of the most difficult jobs to perform.  Not to mention the salary is not monetary.

First off, I love to cook, especially for people I love, who more than my family?

I want to be the one to see my children's first smile, laugh, crawl, steps... I don't want to hear about it from a nanny or daycare or babysitter...  I want to take them to their first day of school and pick them up from their bus stop afterwards.  I want to help them with their homework and fix them an afterschool snack.  I want to do all of that and more...

And of course, this is a dream job because it is a dream...

I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

really? you sure pick a really difficult job as your dream job. I couldn't stay home with my babies all day especially when they're really small. I'd probably try to run away....and then come back.

That's a great dream to have. I would agree that if done right being a stay at home parent can rival if not eclipse the challenges of most outside jobs. The benefits may not be monetary buy I think they far exceed most jobs in terms of true satisfaction- what could be more rewarding than helping to shape the life of someone one...especially your child? =)
When I marry, that will definitely be an option for my wife.

I want to be a professional(ly paid) musician.

get up, write music...find inspiration...write some more. travel a bit, try new things, share your ideas, write some more...learn new things, write some more...writing the music of life. writing the songs that make your life. maybe one day it'll be my reality...

now a housewife isn't asking much. I think you can work that one out soon enough! that's really a pretty cool gig when I think about it. you may not get paid in money, but you will get plenty of love...unless your a bad mom, then it's hell.
