| Disclaimer: This is probably one of the most embarassing posts I've made of all my xanga entries, but I couldn't resist keeping it to myself. Gene will forgive me.
HONEYMOON FUNNY STORY #1
So Saturday night of our wedding, of course Gene and I stayed at our Honeymoon suite at the hotel in Houston, which will go unnamed, but for those of you who attended our wedding, you'll know anyway. Sunday morning comes around, and around 8:00AM my dad calls me with a big, "Goooood morrrnnnnnning!" And we do some small talk, and I ask him what room he's staying in. "Well.....um, actually, we're staying next door to you guys. I promise! We didn't know about it until later!" WHAT??!?!?!?!?! OMGOSH....talk about, awkward? embarassing? weird? all of the above????? After we hang up, I hear my dad coughing in the next room. YUP - definitely my dad, and DEFINITELY not good. This means, my dad, my stepmom, AND my sister were all sleeping or *trying to sleep* next door that night. The irony of it all is something similar (and much worse) happened to one of my uncles for his *ENTIRE* honeymoon (grandma went with them AND stayed in the next room every day). I would always joke about this story and tell all of my friends about it without a second thought. Yeah, I think God played a funny trick on us, or me specifically. No, this will NOT go down as a family tradition! I do not want to be a room next to my kids when they get married!
Here are a few teaser pics of our honeymoon suite (decorated by our humorous and creative wedding and house party) at the hotel in Houston.
They decorated our bed with an assortment of things: rose petals, chocolates, power bars, handcuffs, nutella, and some other unmentionables. They decorated one of our walls with funny messages and pics of themselves. I guess so we could think of them that night. HAHA. =)
In our living area, they left us some chocolate-covered strawberries, bottles of champagne, and a nice gift basket of more goodies.
Lemme just say, that they put rose petals EVERYWHERE. I mean everywhere as even IN THE TOILET!
More pics to come later from our honeymoon in Greece and our wedding too...

| 24 days left of singleness and counting... CAN'T WAIT. I think I'm finally not freaked out anymore when I start hearing "Sharon Liaw." |

This is Hayden ~ my friend Rachel's little boy who's almost 2 months old. The cutest, happiest, most peaceful baby ever! Makes me want to have babies too....later. =)
