Happy New Year!

We're going to start the year by reading Colossians.

First: Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you dirrectly from his Word, pray to reveal to you what He wants you to learn, and that you will get to know Him better in your daily reading.

Read  the entire book of Colossians. Don't panic - it's 4 short chapters. It took me 10 - 15 minutes. It's always best to get an overview of a book before picking it apart.

Questions to think about:

What's your overall first impression of the book?

Who wrote it? Who's it written to?

Why was it written?

Why is it included in the Bible?

What did the Holy spirit convict you of or teach you as you read it?

Post your answers, prayer requests, and what God is doing in your life.

Do you have a New Year's Resolution to read your Bible more?

Do you need someone to challenge you in your personal walk with Christ?

Do you want to connect with other teens who are struggling to live their lives whole-heartedly for Christ?

Do you want to share with others what God's doing in your life?

Do you want a place you can share prayer requests - and know you'll be prayed for?

THIS IS YOUR SITE!

Joyce or Emylee will post a Bible study once a week (Starting January 1) It won't be a lecture - just a passage of scripture for you to read, and questions to think about. You can read the passage from your Bible, or on-line at blueletterbible.com.

Let the Holy Spirit speak to you directly through His Word. Then post what He's teaching you.

You can also post what God is doing in your daily walk with Him, and prayer requests. We promise to pray for anyone who posts - as I'm sure will the other people who post.

This is your space to live out Colosians 3:16:

"Let the Word of Christ dwell withing you, with all wisdom TEACHING AND ADMONISHING ONE ANOTHER with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God."
