i think this pc is going to get annoyed with me getting it to do many+ things at once. i am halfway through hearing this album the first time round and i like it. i like last fm for being able to just listen to full albums like this. sometimes i just want a burst of non intelligent happy rock. weezer provides.
i am currently delegating myself a break from clearing my room. i want it so that it is...liveable! at the moment there is no space so i am trying to be creative with the nooks and crannies i can shove things into, so that i get some room. having a room like mine makes you realise how much STUFF i really don't need, and how my room up in wantage hall was really quite big and, i didnt necessarily need all that space over there. im glad to be going into a smaller room next year in the new house.
so what of now and the year? well, im back in hove.. enjoying a slice of holiday. i am glad all the maths exams are over - thought id have to retake two of them but they turned out fine in the end. to butcherquote a certain jon lydon,
"no retakes, no retakes, no retakes for yioooooooooooooou!"
i didnt try all that hard this year. it showed because i wasnt confident in my subject for the majority of my year. i much more enjoyed the things that were happening outside of my studies. there was a gig with my band i did 2 days before i left, and i am happy to exercise the weaker part of my drumming ability, that is, playing live.
and it was great to be in a position of heavy practising that hands are hardening up from the blisters!
it was also really cool to live with so many people, quirks and all. that extreme of the hall residence living environment probably helps to normalise the idea of me living in a house with only 5 people. even if we are all geeks, and are going to have a lounge full of consoles =)
well, im bored now, and should get back to the shuffling and the dust. bye
