Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.

I really like when I hear people “discussing there political views or thoughts”, it seems they absolutely know nothing about them except for the 15 second video bit they saw on TV. They don’t research anything about them, history, back ground, what they believe, what they support. Incredible sad, but I guess that’s what we get for letting our modern media pick our candidates for us.

I truly believe it should be a legal requirement to vote in this country. A vast majority of people never realize just how important voting is. Even though it is my opinion that politicians typically never care about anyone or anything but themselves, I still think it’s important that we choose our leaders wisely! I think voting blindly because a candidate says “change” is a destructive path.

I believe God put the fore fathers of this country together for the purpose of putting together the most incredible governmental foundations ever seen. We always seem to forget that. We also seem to forget that our freedom is a blessing from God and that we live in this country off of the blood that others have spilled.

I am proud that I was able to serve my country. I also believe that it should be mandatory for every person to serve in some capacity - military or civil, to give something back for what they have been given.

Elections and politics always seem to bring out the worst in people, no matter what you believe in.

When you vote for a candidate you’re voting for EVERYTHING they believe in, not just the one thing you believe in.

Entering a voting booth should be done on bended knees. Choosing the people you want as leaders should be done with a considerable amount of prayer.

Should you be held accountable for your actions and the consequence of those actions – seen and unseen? Even in voting?

June 6, 1944,

160,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline to fight Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France. General Dwight D. Eisenhower called the operation a crusade in which “we will accept nothing less than full victory.” More than 5,000 Ships and 13,000 aircraft supported the D-Day invasion, and by day’s end on June 6, the Allies gained a foot- hold in Normandy. The D-Day cost was high -more than 9,000 Allied Soldiers were killed or wounded -- but more than 100,000 Soldiers began the march across Europe to defeat nazi Germany.

"Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few."

Winston Churchill
