Hey everybody, I'm back! I finally remembered I had one of these.

So. As everybody I'm sure know, I just finished Beauty and The Beast at FBT. I want to go back and do i again! I miss it so much. I have never had so much fun with a show. We had an amazing set an amazing cast(I know I never say that) and an amazing crew. I loved it. But it's over now and I just have to satisfy myself by waiting the 88 days until My Fair Lady. Or the 10 days until Rules of Comedy. I can't wait, I miss the theatre.

School is going ok. I'll feel a lot better about it when I get this ten page research paper about a Flannery O'Conner story out of the way. Yuck.

Well I should probably go start my day now.

Lauren

So I have a big decision, and I need to start thinking about it now. But I don't think I can make the decision on my own. For about a year now, I have had a plan to be an OT, and do hipptherapy. But my love of theatre has recently become as big, if not bigger, than my love of horses. I still love horses alot, but I love theatre alot too. I don't know which path to take. I know my mom would rather me continue with the OT, but I'm just not sure if I will still be happy with that. Would a double major be to much? How far would I be able to make it in the theatre world. Is it possbilbe to support both interests. would I be able to make enoug money in theatre? If I chose to try both, I wouldn't be able to go to the college that I had planned on, same if i chose theatre. I am willing to go with not making as much money as I would with OT, but it all depends on how much I can learn in theatre. I just don't know.
Any opinions, help, advice, would be greatly appreciated.

wow, that was the craziest show ever. We are doing honk jr at FBT, and I found out 10 minutes before the first show that I was running lights, even though I had no idea how to work the dang thing. But I got it figured out and didn't mess up to awfully bad. The next day it went ok too, but today, our director, KAtie, wasn't there, she was having surgery on her throat, and is gone for the next 4 days. So, not only did I have to do lights AND sound together (which she made very complicated), but I also had to take notes for her. That was totaly crazy. I neede both hands for alot of the lights, but while I was doing the lights, I had to play the music, so I ended up working some controls with my elbow. It was crazy. Oh, but that wasn't it. When I came in, some of the lights wouldn't go out, so we still had lights up during the blackouts. MY totally awesome brother even came to help me try to fix them, but it was to late, cause people were already seated. But it went really well beside me cutting of 2 of ugly's lines by starting the music to soon, and giving MAryanna a very awkward pause by starting her music to late. So after the frantic prop search, screwed up lights, and messy music, it ended up ok.

Seriously, I should not hafta deal with this. First, I get a manager that is not only perverted and comes to work hungover everyday, but he is also irresponsible and gets US in trouble for having a dirty pool when he doesn't even tell us how to clean it. So I have to deal with that for a couple months. And then I get a new manager who also is a little bit less than responsible. And now I get a message telling me that I failed all my on-line in-services. I know I didn't fail them, but I take them again, and all the questions are totally screwed up. Give me three good reasons why I shouldn't quit.

Nothing?

I didn't think so!

So now I have another job which I'll start as soon as lifegaurding is over, and I get my liscence. I'll be working at Pecan Grove Stables. It's almost half-an-hour away.\

Anybody who is thinking about ever being a lifegaurd, do NOT work for GHPM. IT is the worst pool company ever ever ever.

Me and Kayla are talking in the tech booth while I am doing drivers ed.

ME: (sarcastically reading from book) Hmmm, which is easier to learn on, manual or automatic transmission?
KAYLA:(dead serious) Well the one with the stick is harder isn't it?
ME:(pause for a disbelieving look) Kayla, that IS manual?
KAYLA: oh, it is? Cool!
