So I stopped playing World of Warcraft 3 months ago. I thought I was going to hold on to my account since the burning crusade expansion was happening last month, but I never got the urge back. I don't think I'm going back anytime soon, so I'm willing to put it up for sale!

After this week, I feel pretty proud of my progress at work, even though I worked my ass off in the beginning at the job and had to deal with some politics here and there.

My personal year end results are quite decent and are a heck lot better than if I were to stay in the track I majored in. Although at this point, I'm a bit lost about the progress for 2006. Go with the flow, flip onto another ship, or get an MBA?

Sometimes the paths are cloudy, even though you know what your final destination is. And sometimes, many paths seem to be open, without a sign of where they all lead. But one thing is clear, have a clear goal, but also learn to think on your feet.

Hmmm, I've been smoking some good stuff tonight lol. Btw this Gregorian variation is pretty cool, makes me enchanted listening to it. Makes me wanna go to Italy again.

Today my mom's mortgage broker called me at work for mortgage document related stuff and suddenly had to ask me personal questions such as my income, so I used mandarin with her. She was so impressed since she thought I was like any other abc! From my speech she could even tell I learned my mandarin from Taiwanese people. How interesting. I never get comments about speaking like a Hong Konger when I speak cantonese to people

I need to practice more Cantonese, aside from occasional bursts of foul language.

Today I had my share of horrible Dell customer service. I placed an order for this baby on Tuesday and noticed that my order status was canceled on Wednesday! What the hellio? Turns out they rejected my order because my shipping address which I used as my workplace did not match my home billing address. But I did provide my home phone number, cell phone, and work phone number, and they could have easily called me or my credit card company up to verify if this was fraudulent or not. But noooo, they had to use their own shady phonebook system to look up my name with my address and apparently claimed that the receiver said no Mason lives there and they don't know about any Dell order. What an idiot, how can a response like that be a basis for canceling the order? Shouldn't you at least try to get in touch with the person who placed the order...damn bitch...I gave her 3 friggin phone numbers and she didn't try any of them.

What's even more blasphemous is that she refused to confirm my identity over the phone, something about I do not have "power of validation" or some crap, until I hammered into her blob of a brain that she ought to call my credit card company for shipping verification as I had added in the past my work address as a valid shipping address to the card. After I was put on hold 3 minutes she came back and started sounding very pleasant that she would reinstate the order and validate my new shipping address for future orders. Haha! Flag of victory! My surrounding coworkers were like yea Mase, show that bitch what you're made of.... Needless to say I love giving lectures to people who insult my integrity and I gave her a mouthful on how to improve her customer credit verification process.

Finally, I was about to send a separate complaint to her manager but then I had a better idea....I just called customer service, and expressed my disappointment that my order is now delayed 2 days due to the incompetent credit card services department they have, and they offered me a free upgrade to next day rush delivery Haha...I felt like such an asshole, but a righteous asshole

Ok enough of my mockery at nerdiness poetry. I can't believe it's been 5 years since high school graduation. It feels like so much happened back then. They say the formation of your identity in society is largely contributed through your teenage years...in some ways it's true, but I believe your attitudes and mindset can always continue to be developed. Life is a process of continuous improvements, always find something to strive for! Can't wait to see how people have turned out in 5 years.
