I'm sorry that it's been about a month since I've blogged.  We were out of town twice and then the holidays came around...  excuses, excuses. 

Anwyn is, of course, absolutely perfect.  She's learning new words everyday, and she keeps impressing me with all the signs that she remembers.  Out of the blue the other day, she started signing "bath" when it was almost bathtime.  She likes to scrub her own hair in the tub, which is really cute until you realize that *anything* liquid that is placed in her hands immediately goes into her hair for "washing". 

One afternoon this past week, I was cleaning up in the dining room while Anwyn was sitting in my chair at the table just talking away to herself.  She kept jabbering and chatting.  I finally walked over to her to see what was so fascinating when I noticed half her face was glowing - she had my cell phone propped up at her ear and shoulder!  Fortunately, she had not dialed anyone.  ;)  Little stinker might run up my cell phone bill otherwise.

Here's the *really* funny story.  We bought a toddler potty to put in the bathroom for Anwyn to get used to.  She absolutely loves it, although she's only peed in it once.  She can sign "potty", and anytime I say I'm going to go to the potty, she runs into the bathroom to get on her potty.  A couple of days ago, she ran in to sit on her potty while I was in the bathroom, and I took off her shirt and diaper.  So there she was sitting stark naked on the potty.  She clasped her hands together, twiddled her fingers, looked around, grabbed a magazine and started flipping through it!  ROFL  I nearly fell over laughing so hard!!!  Methinks she's a little *too* observant.  ;)

Anwyn is a little comedianne who will do almost anything to make you laugh.  Here she is from last night doing her impression of a "pot" head

Anwyn loves to dance!  She will rock her head from side to side and then turn around in circles until she falls to the floor giggling.  John finally got her to start dancing with him; it's so sweet. 

I've been having an awesome time knitting!  I found this wonderfully soft merino wool that I started making into a pair of pants.  Here's a pic (they are partially done) - notice the sheen on the yarn:
