Random Thoughts... (2)

Hey Masters,

It's me again...  I was not able to post  right away the second part of my story because until now which is the third day, our internet's not working in the sleep-in so thank you for bearing with me.

Right now, I'm here at the red room to finish it up.  So, let's continue...

I'd like to talk about Signe first.  Do you remember her habits when she's trying to explain something?  You're right!  Her hand on its gesture and the wagging of her head.  Let's do it this way...  And so, with her eyebrows lifted, imagine the line, 'Who do you think you are?'  'Do you have a problem with that?'  Cool, isn't it?

David S.  How are you?  What are you up to recently?  When it comes to socializing events, you are always the front liner because you never ran out of smiles.  I wonder how you manage to stretch your orifice wide all the time.  Well, that's just simply how distinctive you are my friend.

To Jessy.  An information just lately came to my ear that she had a fan and admirer in the house.  Man, he's not just any body but rather a 'somebody' most girls will like.  What a thrill!

Can you tell what's on my mind about James?  Hmm... The Mama's boy!  What do you think would he do to get his Mom's attention?  Rap singing, probably.  What else?  Smiling sweet and amiable.  Anyhow people, if you have something you want that only your mother can give, just go to him.  Maybe he can help.  As what I've known, they always have their own way to win their mother's heart together with packaged favour and delightful advantages. (Hope I'm right).

Louise Rakel's one habit would be grinning on you with a matching sound 'grrr...' like a tiger (feminine).  What if our boys are all deer playing in a wide jungle, what would they look like when she's suddenly headed to them especially our strongest John and the rest?  Can you figure it out the way I do when they run for their lives?  'Waahhh!'

As you know, L. Rakel and I had differences history to the point that we're both testing each other (I guess).  In particular, I gave her general answers to her usual questions to see how she's going to deal with it.  But conversely when it comes to the issue of trust, the right person to confer with would be Rakel.  Why?  Because she's so focused to handle with it and I just love her for that (as time goes by).

Craig is the male darling of the year being the youngest but sings oldies that are opera-like which I'm also fond of.  On the other hand, he used to find himself enjoying bombshelling anybody successfully just like he did to me.   Smart, huh!

Andy can pretend to be angry but how about Sam?  Even in speech, it cannot sound angry at all!  So, is it really possible for us to think of any nasty and awful words to come out of his mouth?  Naah!  Just keep it that way, Sam.

John is the person who speaks the word 'awesome' a lot of times than anybody else.  Imagine him showing off his muscles to all of us with a lively look on his round blue eyes staring at us and saying, 'Isn't it awesome?'

I can't really recall well what situation was that  (I think it was during the time when the boys were carrying heavy stuff) when Santa jokingly challenged him by saying, 'Show your body, John!'  And John hastily replied, 'No, Santa!'  It's because the problem was a language barrier.  What Santa really meant as I understood is, 'Show your muscles, John and let us see how strong you are.Right my dear, Santa?  Miss you.

Lisa!  She might be seemingly quiet and simple but be aware cause she is swift like a wild cat pawing at you with her claws while walking in the ramp.   Truly, that was such a gorgeous appearance at the main hall, Lisa.  (And oh!  Also Craig.)

During a kick ball game at the park, it was a crazily shocking to see Andy punching hard Johanna with the ball.  That was ‘absolutely wicked’ as in the movie Superheroes except that it still turned out to be really hilarious at the end.

Is there anything you want to say about Amy?  I have one…  Visualize on your mind the night when we the first years had that hide and seek game in the building.  All the lights switched off.  Was she scared?  Oh, yes!  Did she screamed?  Certainly, along with Pris.  But you know what, they were clever enough to hide on their turn which took John a long while to find and made the rest of us to stay in a little corner at the back of our kitchen for a long, long time but other than that it was really fun!

I don’t really need to say much about Pris to make you chuckle because just mentioning her name alone really says it all.  I always said even until now that she has the best laughter of all (and also John).  You may say, I have a crazy laughter as well but too bad to say it’s kinda distracting, isn’t it?  Whereas, Pris’ is intrinsically heart warming.  Love you, Pris.

How are you my Danish friend, Hannah B.?  She’s the girl who always loves to talk.  Sometimes, she would grab a chair and stand on top of it to talk to me while I’m on my bed.  One time, Hannah B. walked into the room and cut into our conversation and gently said, ‘Hannah, it’s bed time, let her sleep.’  Love ya both!

I love her name, Helena Rachel G.  It’s both a beauty name of the ancient which is ‘Helena’ and of the modern age which is ‘Rachel’ that apparently sounds like a H_T babe.   Maybe, that is why I called her unaware as ‘beauty’.  But with her family name Gardarsson, it appears to be totally safeguarded. (Hi, beauty!)

A few number of people asked me if I like Daniel.  Quite surprised as I was?  Verily, our friendship is totally a leader-member kind of.  And because of over familiarity, I sometimes forget that he’s my leader and a ‘supervisor’ in cleaning works at the building.  People, he is incredibly superb.  As touching with the one I like, I felt tired of answering those questions over and over again so I rather tell you now but ‘ssshh’, it’s a secret, ok? (Cheesy,).  Ok, the one I like has this exciting and adventurous journey in life because of his willingness and availability for God’s kingdom.  …the kind I can be proud of. Ü  Yes, that’s true.  And you know what?  He-is-H_T!  But people, wait up!  It's not what you think, ok?!  Cause it's my very own version and sheer interpretation of it.   So hope, that’s clear enough.

And finally to our beloved Sir Flemming and Mikael, our graduation was the best ever fulfilling one of my life.  Thank you.

That’s all folks.  I hope it made you smile, in one way or another.  Please feel free to visit my site d_prairie.  To leave any comment, opinion, dissent or just anything is highly appreciated.  God bless.

Random Thoughts of Missing You.

Hey Masters!

Don't know where and how to start since I really hated writing.  I even belong to the category of snail mailing but the driving force that made me do this is that I just actually missed you all for real.

When I think of you, your habits and many things spontaneously done at CIMC, funny thoughts streamed to my mind and good things as well that keeps on spinning (with some exaggerations, too, to make it funny) so I decided to jot it down so you can get along to laugh and cherish with me wherever you are (hopefully, ).

Let's start with Nolan.  As soon as I knew that he is the boyfriend of my roomie Hannah B., I said to myself how miserable is her life to be with this guy because I just found him completely insensitive and boring.  But first impressions proved me wrong because as months passed by, I realized he is extremely unique, passionate, fiery and totally devoted to God...  Just the right person for my roomie.  Hannah B. - happy are you!

Speaking of expressions, nobody does it better than the one who has her striking sweetness when she says 'Åwwh...'.  Of course, you know her, right Hannah B.?

I've seen acts of few which you might say 'yucky' or of some thing perhaps 'yummy' like of those days when you intentionally gulped some stuff down to your belly out of curiosity as a child.  But, let's talk about something almost everybody can relate.  Remember the proxy of our Bible class who showed off that green-colored, slimy substance by the hand?  What can you say?  But come on people, the proxy's just expressing oneself.  I bet you did even worst than that once by accidentally swallowing it when you were a child!  So, how about it, was it yucky or yummy?  'Ewwh...!'

       I love you, Alicia.

David I. has this favorite line, 'hi, girls...'.   And I suppose every one of you heard him greet that way.  Did you notice I put an ellipsis after the line?  It simply because, it sounds like he's saying, 'hi girls, I'm cute.'  Ok, one time he entered into the computer room and greeted at once.  When I looked around, it was only me and Sam.  Funny, huh!  Ok, let's trim a bit the situation down.  Imagine if I was not there, David then would most likely had to say, 'hi Sam, I'm cute'.   Yet beyond any doubt, that's the fact supported by what I've heard almost from every girl who knew and met him (but not with Sam thing, people).

I can't forget Lotte during one of our early Core Values meetings where the topic was about 'prayer' series.  I remember what she conversed in at the middle of her prayer, 'Oh God, what was it... I forgot, Lord...'.  And you know what people, it's the best example to motivate whenever one of my small group members is timid to pray.  It works.  Thanks, Lotte.

What's up, Andy?  What have you been doing?  Anyways, am thinking you are a person who doesn't know how to get angry, so what if, you and I grew up in the same place of early childhood?  You know what?  I would love to always pick on you (since I am older than you).  Wanna know why?  Because assuming you will be crying, I would love to see your eyebrows, eyes, nose and cheeks all red. Ha ha ha!   Best regards to Rachel.

Oh, and one thing more, Andy. You are a S_R_P dancer, right?  Do you know that there's one who can probably outweigh and prevail over you?  So, if you happened to read this with some Masters around and noticed one to react vehemently... she might be the one.

Hello Ruthie, how are you?  To me, Ruth has the strongest personality and reciprocally the most sympathetic one.  When we had the MCE conference and had a chance to meet Masters from Rockford, only then I understood why she prayed with a soothing comfort and peace... it's all because it was imparted from her leader at Rockford.

It's summer and it's time to go out and enjoy the nice and one of the ever best hot weather in Denmark.  But on the contrary, I noticed a guy who had been hiding around.  It seemed like there were lasses seeking after him.  Yes, a hide and seek game, you may say.  And I just felt sorry for him trying all the best he can to hide, and at the same I enjoyed watching it because likewise, it was such a combined suspense and thrill.  But to be fair, he managed to show himself up to them but in a very guarded ground.  Now he has nothing to worry anymore because he is currently 'protected by someone' somewhere out there.  Right, Daniel?  Woo-ha!

Ingelise, who often calls everyone 'sweetie'  and if any of you were not, you better protest!  Why?  Because you surely will miss many things.  On the other hand, I've once said, 'another standard to follow.'  And you know what?  She really has the standard especially in cleaning and organizing things, evidently.  Lise, you're the best!

When Siki was here to help assist the Aim Team for more than a week, she was able to reach out the first day with her assistant named Pris to a person who greeted her enthusiastically when she was recognized but then immediately dropped sleeping again and could hardly opened the eyes that's why Siki called her 'an addict'.  People, that was just basically me.  I was really just tired from work that day but it was sure nice to see Siki.

Oh, sorry guys.  I have to stop now.  I have been sitting here for many hours already and I also still have to work.  So, till next for the second years and first years... very soon.

I love you all.  God bless.

always, prairie

By Kyle Lake, Relevant Magazine (www.relevantmagazine.com)

Live. And live well.

BREATHE. Breathe in and breathe deeply. Be PRESENT. Do not be past. Do not be future. Be now.

On a crystal-clear, breezy day, roll down the windows and FEEL the wind against your skin. Feel the warmth of the sun.

If you run, then allow those first few breaths on a cool autumn day to freeze your lungs and do not just be alarmed, be ALIVE.

Get knee-deep in a novel and lose track of time.

If you bike, pedal HARD ... and if you crash, then crash well.

Feel the satisfaction of a job well done - a paper well-written, a project thoroughly completed, a play well-performed.

If you recently experienced loss, then GRIEVE. And grieve well.

At the table with friends and family, LAUGH. If you're eating and laughing at the same time, then might as well laugh until you puke. And if you eat, the SMELL. The aromas are not impediments to you r day. Steak on the grill, coffee beans freshly ground, cookies in the oven. And TASTE. Taste every ounce of Life. Because it is most definetly a gift.

From Flemming's bible class: Proverbs 30:24-28

24 Four things on earth are small, yet they are extremely wise:

There are four things, that will lead to wisdom, if you know AND do them:

25 Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer;

Ants understand season and store up. If you are wise, you will benefit from history. The ant understands, where she comes from. She knows the past. Do not just live in the presence. Or just in the future. All three of them in the right balance will help you to do the right things. Ants have little strenght, but great strenght in understanding the different seasons in life and preparing in the right way.

26 conies are creatures of little power, yet they make their home in the crags;

Conies: Christ is the rock. Stay close to Christ. Don’t go to far away. You have little power, but He has great. Stay in Christ, and stay in his word. Read the bible.

27 locusts have no king, yet they advance together in ranks;

Locusts: One is nice and sweet, but when they are coming in millions… There is a power of being many together. One defeats a hundred, but two defeat thousands. There is a secret in being many. You will never make it alone. We are part of a body, and part of a great plan. Find people wherever you are and stand together. Pray together.

28 a lizard can be caught with the hand, yet it is found in kings' palaces.

Lizards are ugly. Like the christians in Corinth. Not many wise, popular people there. We can easily be caught with a hand, but we are found in the kings palace. We received God’s grace. Though we are ugly, God loves us. He made a way, and now we have access to God 24/7. Take advantage of it.
