| Well folks, its all over! What does one do with ones self upon leaving the life of undergrad? Graduation is this upcoming Monday, its so crazy! Do you rember when we graduated good ole FLB, its crazy! | | |
| Well its midterm week! Two down and two to go. After midterm week comes spring break! My favorite time of the year. I'm going to go visit my sister and while I'm there I'm going to pop down and see Rachel. I guess in my last entry I didn't specify about the after school program job. Essentially it is a program run by the Jewish Community center of rockland county and is held in the elementary schools throughout the county. I work at two different cites one has near 80 kids and the other has about 30. Sometimes its fun but most of the time it just reminds me how I'm not cut out to work with multiple children at once under such structuralized, federal conditions. Regardless, its a job. Graduation is approaching both exciting and scary and right now mostly scary as I'm still deciding whether or not to apply to Mercy (a college out here) for graduate studies or start working right away. Neither sound appealing but I must face the fact that I can't actual fulfill my life long dream of speanding my days watching Julie Andrews movies and my evenings making coctails while enjoying the company of friends til two in the morning! What a sad sad thing! | | |
| Soooooooooooooo..... I know that when i left home I said that I would be better about xanga and well, yea I lied. Sorry guys. Anyway, the semester is busy and I'm skipping a lot of classes, I have senioritis real bad. But anyway, still working at the pic people and in addition I'm also working at an after school program, which makes me think time and again how I am not meant to work with children, but regardless it plays well. So I work and go to class and thats about it, but things are going well. Miss you all! | | |
| Its chrunch time! Lots of papers to be written in so little time! I hope you all had a decent thanksgiving. I know for some of you it was better than for others. Mine was ok. I stayed out here and went to the Macy's day parade with Sarah McGlaughlin. It was fun, even though finding a decent spot required us leaving my apartment at 4:45 am! A special surprise, unbeknowns to me Miss. Julie Andrews happened to be in the parade! It was a cold, wet, yet enjoyable experience. When we cam back Sarah stuck a Turkey in the oven and I brought over my homemade pumpkin pie and we did our own dinner, it was nice. It was odd to be away for my fav. holiday though, but hey the parade is a once ina liftime kind of opprotunity. Anyway, I've been pretty stressed out between work and school. Soon it will all be over htough and I would really like to see you all when I come back home. We need to plan something. | | |
| Hey guys! I'm sure if your senior year is as crazy as mine then you'll understand why its been so long since my last update. Lots of school work, lots of work work and lots of extra work. We jusy had our homecoming this past weekend and unfortunately I was stuck helping prepare for all that, it was fun though, just time consuming. We had a fiesta theme complete with sombreros and pinatas! It went well. I hardly know where my minds been lately but I have been thinking about everyone back home and I miss you guys! | | |
