Friends are friends. & in some cases that's all they'll ever be. 
A black man walks into a cafe & notices he is the only black man there. A white man approaches him & calmly says, "Sorry, sir, no colored people are allowed here." The black man was infuriated. "Excuse me? When I was born, I was black. When I grew up, I was black. When I'm cold, I'm black. When I go in the sun, I'm black. When I'm sick, I'm black. And when I die, I'll be black. But you, kind sir, when you were born, you were PINK, when you grew up, you were WHITE, when you're cold, you're BLUE, when you go in the sun, you're RED, when you're sick, you're GREEN, & when you die, you'll be PURPLE. And you have the nerve to call me colored!" 
Friendship; it's more than just a phone call or a birthday present every year. It is more than just a ride to the mall or a study partner. It is a person who is by your side and sticks with you just when you feel you're on your own. 
We laugh too hard
We are way too loud and
We make complete fools of ourselves
But doing it together is what makes us
Best Friends Forever 
Don't spend your time thinking about the people in your past; there's a reason they didn't make it into your future. 
High school is not about finding your husband,
It's about finding your bridesmaids.
