OHMAIGAWD

soooo, I have the flu.

I have a 102 fever, and have lost my voice from coughing so much. it hurts.

this is definitely NOT fun, and it was the last thing I needed considering I'm already behind on some things in school...and it seems like it's just impossible for me to catch up.

This is basically just a warning to any of you who may be around me sometime soon, or who were around me this past week.

*sigh*

and I had anticipated plans this weekend...

like yesterday, for instance, I wanted to go to the homeless shelter with my friends from church. I heard it was a life changing experience to see how (not intended to be offensive) the "other side" lived, and that the way the people acted was completely unexpected, for they were extremely kind, and welcoming. My friend said her heart just went out to them. she wanted to do something more to help them out, and to get involved.

I really wanted to go, but I couldn't because the last thing I'd want would be to get one or more of them sick.

anyway...that little story didn't really have any relevance other than the fact this sickness has ruined my plans, and has put my life on hold once again.

I should just rot away somewhere.

did you know... that I can do anything with my tongue? yes, it's true. well... obviously not anything, such as writing, or something else absurd like that, but anything that's the normal "can you do this with your tongue?" I can do it! jealous? I thought so.
