  • Happy Birthday and happy 19

To the craziest boy i have ever met, and the one whom i love pretty damn much,

when you behave like a King,

when you act like a monkey and expect me to tolerate you

I just want you to know that i don't hate those monkey businesses,
but being 20 gives you every reason to grow out of being a monkey, babe.
I am going to give you a pencil written card later.
So tired, but i will still finish up my last part for harry potter.
Yes i know, almost done with it.
    Basket, took me so long.
Goodnight yo! Happy birthday Eugene El Nino Fernando Jimi Gchonzens.

  • at least a decade since i've posted very 'normally'.
8th november came really quickly, freedom prevails.
    the last paper was ______.
    FITB
made a trip to ying's place. and after staying for a really short while,
we got rushed, or rather ying, to get herself changed and get our asses down cause my aunty and sis were already waiting for us.

so we initially wanted to go paragon to get koo's hard lenses before her trip.
but we decided to go for tea :):):) Audrey loves tea, she badly needs a good chill-out break after 2-weeks of turmoil.
so koo drove us to dempsey hill for PS cafe. damn, my virgin trip to that place and we're loving it. The beautiful chapel she told us about her friend who got married, and not forgetting the endless number of BMWs parked along the roads. too bad PS cafe was closed for dinner preparation.

We settled down at Ben&Jerry's for ice cream, cake, beer, iced tea. I think they were trying to cheer me up after learning that i hadn't done well for accounting =/ Anyway, we fetched ying to raffles where she went to meet her ex-colleagues, and we headed to marina square for contact lenses. Indonesian/Sundanese dinner and we left for home.

i have so many things to do now! A bucketload of very erh, important things la!
i'm meeting up with the campmates later!
    Alrighty, goodbye.

    My boyfriend in Shanghai, hahaha!
    Ying: JEROME IS MINE.

  • All for Barack Obama.

    knew it would be obama.
we're no americans. but it's good to see all the dramz going on all these while.
how it will affect singapore/asia in the future, not too sure but seems like good weather for our economy.
very heartening to see hilary clinton backing obama in the end.
heart is filled with sorrow when obama's granny died in hawaii.
and i always loved Michelle ever since she appeared on ellen degeneres's show. she's so fun!
most of all, sweet loving couple. woohooo

    but wait, be careful,
    beware of assassinations.
who knows, watch your back lah Osama Obama!
    we heart you indeed!
we never really liked sarah palin to tell you the truth!
    ah who cares, we're asians.
who will give 2 cents for what we have to say.
lol, i think i'm too stressed from studying.
goodbye, off for night study with carolinabama.

    signing off,
    audreyobama.

  • Smoking shortens your life

This piece of good(bad actually) news can finally back up everyone's saying of 'One stick taking away 11 minutes of your precious life'
Ripped, not mine. But do read and no pressure if you're a smoker, though i can sense you're pitifully lamenting the loss of your future life, or actually anticipating your future death =/
Friends who are smokers yourself, you should have expected this i hope, since you chose to puff it in the first place =( Okay read on!
    I'm back to mugging weee!

"We should all know by now that smoking is harmful to you and those around you.

But, this, is surprising. Seems smoking might be worse for men than it is for women, and can cause side effects even after quitting!

Finnish researchers have just discovered that men who smoke will not only die younger but will also have a poorer quality of life than those that never smoked.

Reports showed that heavy smokers typically have the health-related issues of someone 10 years older than them.

Lead researcher Dr. Arto Y. Strandberg, from the University of Helsinki, says, "An especially large negative effect was seen for heavy smokers [more than 20 cigarettes daily], who lost about 10 years of their life expectancy, and those who survived experienced a significant decline in their quality of life."

Their results showed that men who had never smoked lived an average of 10 years longer as well.

Dr. Strandberg added, "Especially significant differences were seen in physical functioning, general health, vitality and bodily pain. The impairment of the physical functioning score of smokers was equal to a 10-year age difference in the general population."

And even after quitting, the quality of life continues to deteriorate.

The doctor added, "On the individual level, the bad news is that while beneficial compared to continued smoking, cessation of smoking after midlife could not fully recover the higher risk in mortality and poorer health-related quality of life seen in smokers. Smoking is not only a risk factor for future illness or death, it is present in the smokers' everyday life. The earlier one quits, the better; the best option being not to start at all."

    Go chew some gum.

    Don't smoke and die young!"

yes alternatively, spend your moolah on true yoga, feels much better than cigga.
    yay.
