I
realized whenever you stop looking for a solution the answer will
somehow find you. It's quite exhilarating. Always look at the
optimistic side of things and everything will work out for the best.
Cutting the negativity out of your life really makes a difference.
: ) For those who have
been asking about my wonderful one year anniversary.....it was amazing
and very special. I'm not really going into details because I want to
keep some parts to myself, but for you certain girls (you know who you
are) I will gladly tell you the wonderful events. Let's just say it
consists of.....champagne, mimosas, heart shape pancakes, morning
suprises, chocolate covered strawberries, fishes, The
little mermaid, The Dallas Aquarium, picnic in the sun,
frolicking, frisbee, , 28 long stem roses (steve always buys his
flowers from a florist...not those dinky ones from the groceries..and
yes it does make a difference to me...just actually shows me
he took the time to get them specially picked for
me instead of getting them last minute), many lil surprises on the
way, and romantic dinner under the beautiful sky.

| DISNEY WORLD WILL JUST HAVE TO WAIT

Steve and I have been planning to go to Disney World for the past 3 weeks. His parents and sisters were so sweet to give us passes to get into the theme parks (which would have saved us hundreds of dollars.) He and I have already been to Disney once (separately with family), but we wanted to spend time with each other this weekend at the "Magic Kingdom" for our one year anniversary. But alas, I had to back out the last minute to pay for my books, exams, applications, etc. I was looking forward to going since I haven't taken a vacation during the summer ( I had to pass up TT8 in California, trip to Canada-NYC, and I hear the scouters are having another reunion in NY this weekend..geez.) Steve wanted and even offered to pay for my trip and yeah, I could have ask my parents to give me money...but this is the one thing that I'm stubborn about, and that is...I don't like to be spoiled...in fact I try to be anti-spoiled (though I am often blessed with giving parents, bf, family, and friends). I like to earn my way....though I'm slowly trying to get the hang of it. Yeah, I know I'm weird...it's just that I admire people who work hard and I want to become that person..and plus I don't think being spoiled is "cute" and I don't want to be the girl who takes advantage of her bf either. Anyways, the good news is that I will be getting paid more after the month of September and....the passes are still good up to a year...so we're definitely going sometime before summer!!!!! I just need to learn how to make miss piggy fatter (dr. choungers)

What I'm looking forward to:
Our one year anniversary is coming up and Steve has something up his sleeve...He wanted to make it special and I have no doubt that I will have an amazing day/weekend with him. He's such a wonderful person and I absolutely adore and love him. Also, he happened to take a week off from work (to go to disneyworld) so I get to see him everyday!!!! | | |
