Well, how can you say you love the breakdance, the graffitti art, rappers/mc's, or djays when you don't know their history, their background, the MUSIC.  Thats like saying you love this girl, and everything she's about, without actually knowing the FIRST thing about her.  I understand why you show interest in it,  because its something spectacular, and a thing of beauty, but don't say you love it, because behind those elements is the MUSIC.  It's beautiful because hiphop is beautiful.  It's a culture based on truth and life and creativity, and the elements, are its procreations that exemplify the cats' ways of expressing themselves, but if you go around saying you love it just cause the damn thing looks cool?!  &Have no clue what the funk it's about, or why it came to be.. That's like saying you love some random hottfemale, telling the whole world about how dope she is, saying yall are in love, &not knowing her last name, or her ethnicity, or anything that interests her.  Thats not love, it's curiousity, or infatuation.  True cats are true to every single one of their words, and obviously those who do this are not true cats, because how the heyll are the gonna go around lying to people like that?

I mean, I'm not bashing anyone, but honestly.  It's not like we're closing all gates to the community &shit.  If your down to learn, &really listen, any true cat will preach.  But if you're gonna front, and give us a bad name, then we don't want you around, REALLY.
