| greetings again..
busy season hit me bad...
i came back from hk/indonesia (wonderful trip btw. God was very good to both me and daniel) and had a couple days of training..then back to work.
i've had maybe 3-4 days since i got back jan 2 (which i stupidly went to back to work same morning i arrived back in the states..when i didn't have to because i had actually booked that extra vacation day..i'm an idiot and stupid time zone screwed me up). that includes weekends.
and ..
yes i'm an accountant (auditor to be specific)
and HECKS NO! i don't do taxes. (i can barely do my own, had a tax grad friend do my taxes while i was getting my grad degree in accounting)
i'm an AUDITOR i work with companys' financial statements so they can
a) continue to be publicly traded on the stockmarket
b) someday be traded on the stockmarket
c) get money and are required to have audited financial statements
d) keep themselves from becoming another enron/worldcom/healthsouth/adelphia/etc.
but thankfully i don't just work. i've been able to read the Bible (song of songs..goooood book btw), share with junior highers about relationships ("when is it ok to date?" -- my answer NEVER.. mu-hahaha..kidding....). and pray (the Lord knows there is so much to pray for in times of crisis)
but unfortunately i do have a confession that i've shared with a few people. in my tiredness (i'm one of those people who need sleep) .. i get frustrated with my co-workers. i've actually wanted to hit one. like physically, but just a little hit
thankfully the Lord convicted me..we've talked out our issues and i'm trying to be a good witness to her at work. i still think i could taken her. she's 5'10" russian with legs for days. you say "she's russian, she woulda kicked your butt" ..yes i say "nay" cause i woulda just broken out my old school street fighter moves. a sweep kick followed by a little "down arrow then up arrow + roundhouse kick" to prevent her from falling on me. oooor..i could sweep kicked her than did a sho-ruken (which i think it ryu's tornado punch thingy) that'd have to be a gametime decision.
what else..oh yah..daniel is coming to seattle on friday for the weekend and we're going to eat steak. ruth's chris to be specific. we're taking each other out cause we tied 112 to 112 for games picked correctly during the college football season (we only selected certain games to pick from..the good ones and the bowls games). i got to give props to me for coming back from a 5 game deficit before entering into bowl season to end up winning by one and then tieing cause daniel made a last minute change to pick florida as the winner for the championship and i stuck with ohio. next battle of the sports minds = march madness. (though i'm at a definite disadvantage cause i haven't had time to keep up with anything)
oh..happy (belated) valentine's day. yes i know it's a hallmark holiday..but it's still nice to see people get stuff and see the love go around. :) i give extra little props to my homies close to the wedding bells and those having their first valentines day even if the SO (significant other) is not there to share it with them. you girls know who i'm talking about. ;o)

4 days and counting. no laptop, no fussy RUDE condescending clients, no hard to work with seniors (not old people..but supervisors). ahead...lots of..good food, cherished time with both young and aging loving relatives, friends, "adventure" and the likes. just have to get through 4 days and some long plane rides.
hk here i come..
then.onto indonesia for Christmas and new years
and btw..harry potter order of the phoenix. good book. finally hunkered down and read the book after watching the preceding movies. maybe i should get caught up. if the book wasn't so heavy i'd just bring it along with me on the flight to hk this weekend instead i think i'll just bring my crocheting/knitting.

btw..heroes is a good show. too bad the season is over until jan 22nd. if you haven't seen it..watch the sci-fi channel or something . i think they show replays. my housemate and i are addicted. and my sister and daniel trade theories. we are all geeks.
sidenote-when Daniel came up to Seattle for thanksgiving he taught some SCA folks how to play Settlers. It has now officially spread up and down the West Coast. Seattle being the last destination. my work here is done.
