how are you doing lately?

I went from may through october without writing anything of substance, then i just put my itunes on shuffle and wrote whatever came up, ending each thought with the last note of each song. it was the most therapeutic thing.... since that day i've tried to write a little something everyday and feel myself coming back to life.
remember there's nothing wrong with writing for your own posterity.
but then again the days when we were getting a million comments on each xanga entry were a lot of fun.

Write to write, not to be read.  I'm great, actually!  It seems bizarre to me that xanga is still up, and I'm sure nobody bothered to dismember their xanga profiles, but xanga is far emptier.  Thank goodness for xanga subscriptions!
