Weird and Creepy People

Worked from 11-7 on friday. Not too much happened and we didn't fill too many prescriptions, aka, I was BORED! The only interesting thing though, was that there was a forged prescription on a stolen prescription pad before I arrived...and then there was another phone call later from a supposed 'doctor' giving the SAME oral prescription as the one that we had last week when the pharmacist was tricked into dispensing duragesic! When I noticed the pharmacist receiving a new verbal prescription order, I looked up the patient's name in our system, and they didn't exist. I knew that things were weird immediately. Then, I noticed that the prescription contained three items, the SAME three items as before! lol. Idiots...

There was a woman who brought in a prescription also. When I was looking at her profile I couldn't believe my eyes! She was 70 years old, but she looked 50! Her hair also was natural! She was like "yeaah, I"m starting to grey". I was like WOW, you look incredibly young! Wow!

Another patient came in to pick up a prescription. He gave me two 50 dollar bills and I had to check if they were genuine using the techniques I learned at the store program thing I went to earlier. He saw me checking and I told him it was my job to. He was like "Yes....they're genuine...genuine as YOU are, Michelle....". I was like.OMG. Must take off my nametag so the creeps don't see. I Remember the guy...he was creepy...he was picking up Viagra..

Another woman came in...she had called earlier and made a fuss about how she needed repeats for her son's medication, and that it was urgent. We faxed the doctor a bunch of times using permanent marker to put 'urgent!!!' on the page. She picked up another medciation for her (7-year old) son, and when she was paying for it, she was like "I just need something to make him sleep, you know?!" I was like...omg... You're HORRIBLE!

Phantom is out!

I was shopping the other day and while I was in Indigo, I noticed a shelf full of the book Phantom written by Terry Goodkind. I've been waiting for this book for a REALLY long time and I didn't even know that it was out! I was going to buy it, but my bf bought it instead. YAAY! =) The book thus far is captivating as always, but I don't have much time to read it cuz I'm working almost every day.

No more CNTM ever.

They're still talking about the girls' potential during the season FINALE. ANTM is 1000x better. CNTM was a waste of my time and I'm never watching again.

On a side note, I saw a picture of Macaulay Culkin in the 24 this morning and I HAD to post, just because he looks SO much like the girl who won CNTM, aka "crybaby horseface"....and this is her best/final picture too. Too rushed to find her previous pictures - the CNTM website is pretty crappy. No, you have to find a picture of her face forward.
