  •  Rach, Bek, Ab 037

Sisters are probably my favorite things.

Especially when sisters come together to take pictures.

    Rach, Bek, Ab 034

Too bad all the sisters aren't quite as photogenic as the youngest. Some people just aren't blessed like that.

Work is going okay. Somedays I love it, and somedays just drag on. I'm kind of ready to leave for Plainview, but at the same time, I am terribly sad about leaving my class. Incredibly Sad. It's really nice to say that I have been there for almost two years. It actually seems longer than that, but it has been a nice run, I'd say. Hopefully they will let me come back.

A few things that I'm looking forward to:

Tomorrow is hopefully my last lab day.

    Next week is finals!!!!

Since tomorrow is my last lab day, there will be no more days of waking up a 5:00 am. Next week I can sleep at least until 8:00. (yay!!!!)

    SUMMER!!!

    Mexico Mission Trip

Having a niece....it's getting so close! and I'm getting more exicted!

    Working full time.

  • Winter, spring, winter, spring....

    Bekah's folder 904

Today of all the gorgeous days we've had, dad decided we should get all the lumber he needs to build a pergola. And let me tell you, that was a lot of lumber, and it was snowing while we were loading it. Yes, that's right. It snowed here today. A lot. If you ever wondered what snow covered wild flowers look like....

    Bekah's folder 907

    Bekah's folder 908

    Bekah's folder 906

    Here's some more...

    Bekah's folder 910

    Bekah's folder 909

Now, I will stay home until Monday because I refuse, I REFUSE, to go out again in the cold.

    So, Happy Easter, everyone.

  • excited about life? me? Okay, maybe a little....

    So far this week:

---Spider bite turned to staph infection. Most painful thing I've ever experienced. I haven't experienced that many painful things, but this hurt. bad.

---Had a real life Tornado drill at work. Went very smoothly, I must say.

---Got SO much rain. So much that at the day care, we looked out the window and there were trash cans floating down the street.

---All the rain caused so many blue bonnets to come up. It's So beautiful out here!!!

---One of my little girls in my class at work is in ICU. Sad. Pray for her. Her name is Kyleigh.

---HIGHLY excited about moving to Plainview---benefits:

a LOT closer to Aaron and Cimarron

                                         closer to Grandma and Granddad

                                         closer to Taco Villa

and I will get to see Emma Claire every day

---Friday we're going to Lamesa. Haven't been there since Christmas, so I'm really excited about that.

    I think that's all.

  • spider bites and job offers...

    So far this week:

---I got bit by a spider. I don't know what kind or even when exactly it happened, but it is by far the most painful thing I have experienced yet. (it is infected....OUCH!)

---I got a new "job" offer.

---I gave my four month notice at work.

Okay, so maybe it doesn't sound that exciting, but let me tell you, I am SO excited about my new job. I will be moving to Plainview in August to take care of a little miss Emma Claire while her mother finishes school. It will only be from August to December, but I am so excited about it!!!!!

And if this darn spider bite doesn't get better, I am going to have to go to the doctor. I do NOT want to go to the doctor. (DO NOT!!!!!!)

  • Today was probably the nicest day I've had in a long time. Yes, I had to work at 8:30 this morning, and I wasn't feeling too great. When I got to work, I told them that if we got low, I'd like to go home. Well, at 12:30 (i was supposed to take a lunch from 12:30 to 1:30), I went to sign out and they said, "Bekah, it looks like you're going to be off this afternoon!" SWEET!

So, I went tanning, then met mom and dad at Rosa's. We were going to go see a movie, but we decided we'd rather go to Lowe's and Walmart to look at and buy plants. We came home and immediately started cooking supper. I didn't eat it, but apparently I made a pretty good fruit salad by what dad says. Then we cleaned up the kitchen and here we are. It seemed like a busy/long day, but it was so nice to be out. It was beautiful outside today...it felt like a summer's day. If I had a group of friends, I would have invited them out to eat and do something fun. But family is just as good.

I'm really not going to be that picky when it comes to my future husband, but I sure would like it if he knew how to cook. I just think that's fun to cook with someone. But I kind of like to "entertain", so that would come in handy.
