  • cornell as usual has not failed to be its charismatic immature middle school manic depressive self this semester so far. but no issues, everything has been working out pretty well. rush is over and now its all cor, rose dates are cute, the idea of potential little and planning out the week is about the only thing i can see myself good in as far as planning goes, ta-ing is going well for bee102, ta-ing for hadm415 should be fine too (and if its not, i still make $9/hr) prssa is cool, etc etc

of course i am only saying this now because i am in a good mood, and i am sure that within the next couple of days this will change, but no matter. my classes are decent. civil war is great (ask me anything about lincoln's virtues, please!), comm would be great if half the class shut the fuck up but if i learned anything from stuy, its how to put up with annoying shits that talk to much (no offense to the general population, but we have all had at least a couple of classes with kids like that ), innovation is tolerable or in the very least, more tolerable than managerial, but we all need that one class that makes us want to kill ourselves. and chem is very cute, albeit useless. all i do so far is read, which is quite a lovely change from business plans and group projects and everything that made me loathe last semester.

i wish we still lived on north campus though, or at least, got to live there again, because i keep thinking how funny it would be to go back to the original way things were set up and see how people have changed over the years, or even how cool it would be to live in the townhouses with friends. i discovered an amazing place in ctown that does not card for drinks, which i think is the real driving reason for my happiness tonight. oh, and paycheck tomorrow. statler, you still rock. my single is exciting and i can now have middle school sleepovers. such is the classy life.

i do, however, need to stop staying up late, and stop watching episodes of sex and the city which turns out was actually really good in season 1 before carrie became a self-centered whiny ass bitch (a flaw that isnt unique to her, but nevertheless). its almost as if i watch the episodes to catch glimpses of nyc, because i wont be home until june, or so the plan is right now. i miss summer days. that show definitely hits the right nerves sometimes and makes me sit and wallow about why i cant have my classic nyc love affair, or rather why it has to be cut short. but i digress. two other things contributing to happiness: yay for crs/r '06, best news i have heard in a long time, and also, degrassi is back! if only classes didnt interfere with anything remotely interesting (civil war and bee102 aside, of course).

sorry for the (usual) disoriented ramble entry. and happy birthday wei.
