I've been hanging out with Holly, Ilse, and Meghan a lot.
Which has been really nice.
I'll be coming home for Thanksgiving in 2 and a half weeks.

| Today was crazy. Last night I got 2 hours of sleep because I was working on my Physics lab. I need to start doing things before 1 AM the night before it's due.
Tonight my friends held this Falling Whistles discussion at Medici's, and it was really amazing. My friend Colin came and he was really great in proposing ideas for outreach and just generally discussing the core issues of the government in the Congo.

We had a really nice conversation about evolution and Christianity on the way home. He's a Molecular Biology major so hearing his opinions was really informative. I think I made a good friend!

| I am obsessed with coffee houses. I seem to just go from one to another "studying."
Mozarts, Freebird Coffee House, Spider House Cafe, Medici's.
I finished my Thermal Delight book. I really loved it.

Who would've thought a book about the use of the elements to create architecture would parallel my thoughts so well? ...I miss my man.
I have two tests on Thursday but I'm only going to the morning one because I'm leaving early to go back home! only for a day though cause I gotsta go to my Uncle Steve's halloween party! fun fun, I will try to remember to bring a camera and post pictures. | | |
| I haven't written in this in a really long time.
It's been really nice reminiscing on all my old thoughts and experiences throughout high school.
I'm in Austin right now, studying architecture at UT. amazing. I really love my Architecture and Society class. I think I might transfer into engineering though. maybe get my masters in sustainable design? not sure.
OH! but, life right now is really good. I love my roomie Monica, we are so much alike it's crazy. Plus we both have similar weird sense of humors which helps a lot.
She's gone for the weekend, and today was a total ME day. I woke up early, went to the tower and read under some trees. It was really wonderful. really beautiful day.
I've met some really nice people here, but I'm pretty homesick for my man back home, my old friends, and my family.
Austin is really lovely though so I'm gonna try and get assimilated.
Halloween soon! I think me and Anthony are going as Alfalfa and Darla..... DEAD! haha. it's going to be great.
Anyways, this is now my personal journal. I will write in it occasionally purely because I enjoy looking back on my entries and seeing how I've changed and such.
