Hey guys... whooh... camp... yeah. umm..

ok some music then.  some of u may laugh at me, but come on, gotta have a little moby every now and then.

Ahh... greatness. I didnt have time to watch the whole video but it looked ok, I'm more after the song anyway.

So camp. Wow, i have to say, camp for me always gets better, this year no different. Thing is, i dont think it's the camp itself so much as the people. Yeah yeah given this year I was a junior and that has its advantages, but last year I was still a little on my own planet and... i guess i didnt really... connect with people... until this year.   (if you laughed at that, name a better word I could have used)  So yeah, lol, massage circles... that's connecting alright...

haha, no seriously tho, thanks everyone for really making it worthwhile.

Ok now i like this song, its pretty catchy... kinda a hackneyed theme and sound, but nevertheless i think its a cool song.... so i looked up the music video.

ROFL

Ok this video just cracks me up... watch it and then we'll go over my 3 favourite parts of it.
(nyahah... 2 months in SA and im doing the whole "ou" instead of "o" thing...why this year?)

[this is where the video used to be... sorry]

haha, ok, so first off... i changed my mind, there's more than 3. First being where the guy running jumps over a case that just so happens to have the band name on it, Damone. Next, the second guy running is just like "umm uhh, i think i'll go... HIDE IN THE THORNY BUSH"... moron... and then the first time i really cracked up, THE HAND... AAAA, a HAND....which appears to have come from Party City. .... next up... the guy gets in the car... then the camera comes up to the car... the guy seriously looks like he's jacking off... and then. then... sticks his foot out? which is bare. wtf... and then yeah, THE FOOT....AAAAA.. which the girl just casually strolls by w/o noticing... Then finally when the girl sees the band playing in the room... and she's like... "OHMYWORD, its ME"

hmm... that's like, the whole video isnt it... well i guess i made my point...

still a pretty cool song i think..

oh and yeah, im back. See ya at camp or school... or feel free to hang with me sometime before either of those - when i finally got in Pretoria most all my friends were gone... so i only saw them like once.... I had my share of boredom in SA, no joke... except for one week, but i'll get to that as soon as I upload the pics

hey guys, it's my last night in the cape... last bit of free internet access too... so I'll post again if/when I 1)get back in atl.  , 2)find a friend who got DSL since the last time I saw him , or 3) I happen to find some cash on the floor while strolling past an internet cafe... slightly unlikely... but anywhoo..

ahh.. so I was at the beach... nothing much to say really... given it's winter and more importantly that we only stayed for 2 days, I didn't do much... but we were blessed with generally good weather again. And the boks (the SA Springbok Rugby team) beat the shit outta the scots yesterday, so yay there, and Korea tied the game with france!!! whoohoo Korea!!!  [picture every (south) korean who could afford it filling up a fourth of the staduim in Germany and jumping up and down(rather nicely synchronized) to the beat of their own chanting and you get an idea of what the crowd was like... and that even before the koreans scored the tying goal...].

Tomorrow afternoon (early morning atl time) I get on a plane and fly north for two hours, drive a few more hours on the highway and I'm back where I started nearly 16 yrs ago... what a ride it's been so far. In significant part because of you guys too, so thanks. I get all deep here because it just hit me this is most likely the last time I'll access the internet (much less post on here) as a 15 yr old... and there's supposedly something different about 16. (I say "most likely" because I'm not willing to completely throw out the money/internet cafe scenario.) As I have many times before, I quote the great Ferris Bueler... "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." So once again, i have stopped and observed. Life is still good, so let's all stay friends and make it better.

yay, dontcha just feel all warm inside now?

Stephan, hehehHElls yeah. Only problem is they're all like... between 20 and 25... buut i guess that's something that could be worked around depending on the situation. But yeah man, all of a sudden all doubts that I had about coming here for college just.. faade away...

Hadely, when I go back north to pretoria, we're going to my mom's uncle's farm... he's got giraffes.

Sadly, there's a weather update here... (btw, as I hear there is for you guys also... helooo hurricane season '06)... anyways, for the past week it has been amaaaaazing. Sunny... windstill.... only the slightest clouds... fairly chilly nights but the days made up for it. but NOW... yesterday, it got all rainy and extrEMEly windy. i mean i look outside and the rain is falling at a 30 degree angle with the ground. But meh, i stayed home, read some popular mechanics i found under the TV... watched oprah and dr. phill... as the rest of what was on tv was mostly in wierd african languages... Oh, btw this was at the flat my sister is staying in, not the super lux home of my uncle.. which im back in now.

welp, thats it for now. bye!
