| Big things start small. Rather than getting overwhelmed with the thought of changing the world, there are small steps we can all take in our own lives and communities that can have a real impact. Music is just one way of making change. What will you choose? Goapel (musician). on my starbucks cup.

| yes. I know it only says one.............1. One book that changed your life: Ishmael by Daniel Quinn. It completely changed my outlook on life, the way I live, and how I treat people, animals, and the environment around me.
2. One book that you’ve read more than once: The Great Gatsby by Fitzgerald (one of my all time favorites). The BFG by Rohld Dahl (my childhood favorite). "The Purple Book" (or i guess it's grey now.........sad day)
3. One book you’d want on a deserted island: a book of Bukowski poems. to read over, and over, and over.
4. One book that made you laugh: the Phantom Tollbooth. Seriously. You've got to read it. So clever!
5. One book that made you cry: Poisionwood Bible. by Barbara Kingsolver. and Pride and Prejudice. and the Red Tent by Anita Diamant.
6. One book you wish you had written: On the Road by Jack Kerouac. Because that would mean that I was traveling and had no cares, except where to go tomorrow....canada? Mexico? or somewhere in between?Or any of Barbara Kingsolver's books, basically because she's brilliant.
7. One book you wish had never been written: Old Man and the Sea by Hemingway. Systematic Theology. A Widow for One Year by John Irving.
8. One book you’re currently reading: Everything is Illuminated. it is BEAUTIFUL and hilarious. I'm also reading "Bono," which is surprising and intriguing.
9. One book you’ve been meaning to read: Catch 22. I start it over, and over, and over, with the best of intentions. And then I get confused. And also Lolita...I start and then get so mad and disgusted that I want to throw it across the room.
ps. thanks abby. good quiz. |

| how do ben and felicity ever get together? I mean, i've seen the series finale, so i know they do. but in the beginning she is kind of stalker-ish. she follows him to NYC, she reads his application essay, and then follows him around. THEN she re-writes his english essay? if i were ben, i would have run the opposite direction long ago. but somehow, they end up together. the move to california. i don't get it!
not to mention, that they are like 18, and have way more drama than anyone i know. robberies, plagerism, people getting pregnant, dropping out of college, stalker girlfriends, early 90's wavy man perms... but i can't stop watching. i keep dvr-ing it. crying. laughing. what is it about felicity that we love so?
