The End

In honor of it being my last day of LAW SCHOOL CLASSES I figured I should post something, so here it is.

Something :)

I should probably be studying and not reading "Simple Genius"

Accents

Why do people feel they have to imitate people that speak differently than they do.  Yes, that person has an accent.  Get over it.  It's kinda rude.  It didn't bother me before but it seems to be getting worse.

I was just watching TV and I just realized that it actually irritates me when someone with an accent says something and the person they are with repeats what they say in what they think to be the same accent.  Someone on TV just did this...SHOCK!

I just love listening to people with different accents.  I love hearing the different inflections that come with what region of the world you are influenced by.

So...word of advice...if someone says something that sounds different from how you would say it, don't repeat it, (unless you are in a language class and that's part of the lesson).  From what I've heard, people actually don't find it funny, they find it irritating.

Blessings

I said "let me walk in the field"; God said "No, walk in the town"'

I said "there are no flowers there": He said, "no flowers, but a crown"

I said "but the sky is black; There is nothing but noise and din";

But He wept as He sent me back, "there is more" He said, "there is sin"

I said "but the air is thing, and smog is veiling the sun."

He answered, "Yet souls are sick, and your work is  yet undone"

I said "I will miss the light, and friends will miss me, they say"

He answered me "choose tonight, if I am to miss you, or they"

I pleaded for time to be given; He said "is it hard to decide?

It will not seem hard in Heaven To have followed the steps of your Guide."

I cast one look at the field, Then set my face to the town

He said "My child, do you yield? Will you leave the flowers for the crown?"

Then into His hand mine went, And into my heart came He;

And I walk in a light Divine, The path I had feared to see.

 It's been a while since I've been on this thing so it's about time I made another entry.

So...I finally got a puppy.  A cute 11 week old, 5 pound, PUG!  He is the most adorable little thing.  His name is Max.  I don't know why I waited so long to do this.  I've known that I wanted a puppy for at least 5 years now.  I guess the timing was always off.  Anyway, he is the most entertaining thing I've ever seen.  And the expression in his eyes...when he's good and when he's bad...is mindblowing.

Anyway, needless to say it's a lot of work.  Since he's so young we have to take him out sooo often because he's not able to control his bladder.  So my little boy is driving me to drink --coffee (AGAIN!!) lots of it!  I had totally given up coffee but Tea just isn't cutting it anymore.

Other than that, classes are done in two weeks, exams are right around the corner, papers are coming due, and my mind is spinning out of control.  But I guess I asked for this life so I gotta deal with it.  I can't wait for the next 4 weeks to be over so I can take a short break and get back for my FINAL SEMESTER OF LAW SCHOOL - Yippppeeeee!!!!!   So now, can someone find me a job please lol.

Here's a pic of my little boy.

It's almost time for my summer employment to end and school to be back in.  I've already received my second assignment for the first week of classes so I guess at some point I should get on that.  But for now, I'll just assume all is well with the world and I have no obligations whatsoever.  Sounds like a plan to me.
