Has been a fairly rough week for me - first, I had to surrender my parking permit to SFU, then on last Thursday, I lost my backpack with my wallet in it in the Education gym. First, I hereby curse the person who took my wallet and purposefully not returning it to me to have breast cancer (if it's a girl) or prostate cancer (if it's a boy) and wish him/her die of a prolong, painful and agonizing death. Just want to list a history of what I have done in searching for my wallet. I lost my wallet on Thursday night at around 7:30pm and found out at around 11pm when I went out. When I found out, I cut my visa/debut card. Called/e-mail my groupmates A, B, C, D and E. A said she left with B but she did see a backpack but she thought that was somebody elses. C replied on e-mail the next day that she left early. I contacted D on the phone the next day but she said she didn't know anything about it. E didn't reply me but I assume she doesn't know anything about it. So no source of information from here. Sent an e-mail to my prof the same night and got a reply from her the next day. She said there's another class after our class at 7:30pm and said that I should maybe contact them to see if they have seen my wallet and she doesn't have a class e-mail list so she can't ask the class. New source - the class after our class. Potential source - other classmates that I can't contact at the moment. The day after I left my wallet (Friday), my friend drove me to SFU at 9am in the morning (I lost my driving license along with my wallet so I can't drive) in the hopes of finding my backpack and wallet in the classroom. But nope, nothing! Source dead. Went straight to the lost and found/security office, and nope, nothing there. Source dead. Then went to the education office and see if anything's there, and nothing. Source dead again. On Monday, went to Education gym and asked the gym manager if he has seen my backpack and wallet and still, nothing! Source dead... Went to the education office and ask what is the class after the class I had after 7:30pm on Thursday, and the girl (probably very new because she doesn't know anything) says that I should check with the SFU student services office because they do most of the booking there. New source - SFU student services office. Went to the SFU student services office today (Tuesday) and they told me that they are NOT responsible for booking of the education gym and that I should go back to the education office and talk to a person who knows what they are talking about. New (?) source - education office. So I went to the education office, and asked for the adviser there, but she is in a meeting and I waited for half an hour. Then she told me that the education office does not know who booked the gym because whomever booked the gym belongs to a recreational class and they are not responsible for that, so she suggested that I should go to the recreational main office instead (the point where I got frustrated). New source - Recreational main office. Went to the recreational main office and they told me they do not know but there's an adviser there who MIGHT know the contact information of the recreational class that booked the gym on Thursday after 7:30pm. Unfortunately, she is not here today (W#$*G%O#*GFOWGEKF!!!!!!!!!!!). Sooooo, I sent her an e-mail in the hopes that she might know the contact information on the class after 7:30. New source - waiting for a reply from an adviser in the Recreational office. To sum up, there are two remaining sources (1) The adviser in the recreational office who can give me the contact information on the class after mine on last Thursday after 7:30. (2) Classmates that I will see on Thursday. I am thinking that maybe I should pay a reward sum to whomever find my wallet, but that's just pure stupid and ironic, because I am planning to pay money to the person who "stole" my wallet. But I guess better than nothing. Anyways, even if I don't find my wallet, oh well! I think I have done it justice because I have tried hard enough to find it. I have no regrets at all. XD |
