JAPAN: 

My year abroad has been going well so far.  I've been spending practically every morning and evening playing hockey for Sophia University's Team.  I've had a hell of a time trying to adjust to the way they play hockey here in Japan.  For example, there's not as much hitting/aggressive play, which really takes away from the meaning of the game, but not much I can do about it.

I have met many new friends which I think has been the biggest accomplishment since I have come to Japan.  If I am not playing hockey I'm probably out with my new friends, drinking... partying.. clubbing, whatever.  You can seriously do anything you want here in Japan.  My Japanese is also improving a lot, as I am learning a lot of new slang ;)  Anyways, there's not much to say... if you want some pictures take a look at my facebook for pictures.

closing out the summer:

well this summer has been full of boring bs, as well as excitement.. don't really know how those two fit together.

go to lots of meets: done
detail as many cars as possible: done
see your favorite person(s) enough: not done

i will miss all my friends and family.
and then theres the other people i want to thank.
