| Miniminh, the Carcall it mid-life crisis, call it spur-of-the-moment-artistic-action, call it peer pressure, call it stupidity, call it a financial suicide..whatever it is...the fact is, I bought a mini-cooper last night. and today people at an anti-communism protest gathered around the car and took pictures of it, with it, leaning against it...they love it! and my mom freaked out about it. I felt bad for not consulting her during the process. But soon she will see the pictures i sent home, and she will approve.
the romantic MOON-roof

Yep. it's for real. the deal is done. Now, let's see if i can afford it! hahahahhaha...

| kuala lumpurthe assignment in Malaysia was actually bearable. I'm actually glad i got to visit a new country; and living with co-workers for a week wasn't so bad. It was actually entertaining. Even the 20hrs flight was a breeze! having all 3 seats for myself on the plane from Los Angeles to Taipei, and to Kuala Lumpur, i almost wish the flight didn't have to end so soon. my reports for the vietnamese youth conference in Malaysia can be viewed at http://www.sbtn.net/?catid=297&pid=157 or http://www.youtube.com/motngayquaongkinh Fun. And here's some favorite moments from the trip :
SOUTHEAST ASIAN FRUITS!!! The best thing Asia has to offer. MANGOSTEEN, RAMBUTANS, LONGANS, LYCHEES....google them and try them out next time you're in Vietnam or Malaysia!!
and i ate too much of those MANGOSTEENS....delicious!! i want more!
Our $30 worth of fruits, which lasted for like, 1.5 days.
...yeah..i thought it's cute to blend in with 60% of Malaysians who are Muslims..and i was lucky enough not to get beat up for it. A taxi driver even exclaimed "you are now malay!"
And yeah, let's not forget why we're in Malaysia..to work, of course. Here's the SBTN team from headquarter. (also had 2 guys from SBTN houston). Featured in the middle is a senior reporter whom we've given up and fallen in love with, due to her..outrageous cuteness.

Today's the day to begin a fresh new year full of productivity and results and such! DO IT!!!
