Well this week was pretty busy for me. Monday I went to classes and after I got home Stuey came over and surprised me :) Tuesday I went to the doctor and finally found out that the reason my knee hurt so much was because the muscles in my leg are pulling my kneecap over. So the chiropractor snapped, crackled, and popped it and said that if I roll a rolling pin on it twice a day it should feel better in a couple weeks. As for my sickness I was put on another medication and I should be healthy by the middle of April. I'm pretty happy about that. :) Wednesday I got to hang out with friends, Thursday I actually got some homework done, and Friday I hung out with Jesse and Stuey since it was their last night here. Yesterday I spent a little time in Kzoo cuz Rachel was home!!!!!!! That was pretty fun and I am happy to report that we are already planning a trip to Omaha this summer After we got back from Kzoo I did a little homework and then went to a hockey game. First hockey game I've been to this year surprisingly and it was pretty good although the did Griffins lose 3-2. Today I'm really exhausted since that was about the most I've done since Christmas.
Well that was my week in a nutshell. Let me know how ya'll are doing (those who still have xanga and haven't totally abandoned it for facebook.) _Lindz_

global warming???? I hope I get better before all the snow is gone....
| hey all! Everything has been going ok on my end. I tested positive for mono so now I officially know what I have. I'm still really tired a lot of the time and I'm really missing spending time with my friends. I thank God that he has blessed me with friends who care about me and encourage me. On a different note things with school have been pretty rough. I'm pretty far behind now and I am scrambling to catch up. It's a good thing I'm homeschooled and only have classes on Mondays. I did get a part in the play. I'm pretty excited about acting again. Well I'm gunna get back to my homework _Lindz_ | | |
| Hi all For those who are wondering I am doing a little better. Sometimes I feel really good and sometimes I feel really bad. So it's up and down a lot but overall i think I'm getting better. Over the past couple weeks I have been to the doctor a lot. The first anti-biotic they put me I had an allergic reation to so they put me on different medication and the doctors are hoping that that will clear up my kidney infection. Unfortunately a different doctor I went to believes I have a mono like virus also. So he gave me some medicine to boost my immunity and hopefully it will clear things up. I have a doctors appoinment tomorrow to get a couple tests back and check to see if my infection is gone yet. As far as other things go, because of my sickness I haven't been doing much at all besides going to the doctor and stuff. However I did audition for a couple parts in a play. God willing i will get one of those parts. Well that's all I have time to update for now. I appreciate very much ur prayers. Lindz | | |
| wow a lot has been going on since I updated. The Dominican ppl got here safe and we had a great time hanging out with them before retreat. Retreat was pretty fun. Since I was sick I didn't get to experience many of the things like the last few sessions, being in the talent show, the meals, choir practices etc. etc. But what i did do was awesome!!! Pastor Johnson preached some life touching messages. I feel like God really had his hand upon this retreat (although there was no snow :( ) I very much enjoyed having my friends there and meeting new ppl and sharing in the faith of our Saviour. Hopefully we will see many of the same people back this year. After the retreat I heard was a blast with all those parties and all. Friday the DR ppl left which has left me lonely and a little sad. God willing I will see them again in the near future.
On a slightly different note thank you so much to all those who have been praying for my health (thanks Jared). I really appreciate how some of the dominicans (Persio, Daniela, Aimme, and Marcos) took care of me during retreat and made sure I didn't miss out on 2 much. I also immensely appreciated those who would talk to me and ask how I was feeling and stuff. I went to the doctor yesterday and he told me that from the blood tests that everything wasn't really that normal. Apparently my white blood cell count is down which indicates a virus of some sort. I have been pretty dizzy and tired lately so they think it might be mono (and no I haven't been kissing anybody lately ;) ) lol. They called later in the day yesterday and said that one of my test showed some irregularities and they were sending in on to the lab for further testing. I have a follow up appointment on Tuesday. Please pray that it isn't anything to serious and that they would be able to discover the problem. Thanx again for the prayers. PLEASE DO NOT hesitate to let me know if there is anything i can pray for ya'll about. In Christ _Lindz_ Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will disown us; if we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself ~2 Timothy 2: 11-13
