That's what the banner add just told me. They will go nicely with the one million dollar contest I just won (according to another banner add). And, I should vote for Hillary... Tina Fey said so, and I would follow Tina Fey onto the Titanic (unless it was being piloted by Hillary Clinton. I may have gone to public schools, but not even I am that stupid. Sorry Tina). For the record, the following video has not been approved by the Pope, Tom Cruise or any other religious council.
I'm planning on getting a tattoo sometime (hopefully soon). I would like to get it on the inside of my forearm.
Here's the plan: I'd like to have a cross that involves the following words/terms: 'Propitiation' 'Expiation' and 'Christus Victor'. Currently, my idea is to have 'propitiation' written on the vertical cross bar and 'expiation' written on the horizontal. I would like 'Christus Victor' written above the cross.
Why: I would like to get a tattoo to represent my salvation experience. I chose this because many things happened at the cross. I've chosen these three to be incorporated in this image. There are many more. 'Propitiation' means 'to make favorable' basically, it is Jesus' death satisfying the anger/wrath of God against the repentant sinner. 'Expiation' means 'to make pious'. It is Jesus' death providing forgiveness of individual sin. 'Christus Victor' is a reference to the defeat of Satan, sin and death by Christ on the cross.
Where I need help: I'm looking for people who are artistic to help me come up with creative ways to make this image come together. I'm also looking for input. What do you think? Do you have any other ideas? Let me know. Oh, another thing. I believe that Christus is spelled with a 'u', but I'm not positive. If you know, please let me know.
