More proof that everything that I believe is right and contrary opinions are wrong.

DANGIT!!

If it's not one thing that's annoying me, it's another.

Finally the Christopher Reeve crap has stopped, but now I'm supposed to feel bad because I kill animals by eating meat. Let me get this straight...I'm an animal murderer by enjoying a steak. I'm not even going to get into a religious debate about WHY I can eat animals, I just want to show how stupid people are being by believing that being a vegan SOB is more humane. If you don't eat animals, you only have a couple other options: plants, rocks, dirt, and other non-conventional foods. Excluding hippies, most people choose to eat only plants. I don't have any problems with eating plants and whatnot. It's just the sheer narrowmindedness that these idiots have. Ungraciously, during the summer I live in one of their nervecenters, so I witness firsthand how dumb these treehuggers can be.

Now, I don't have any numbers, but how many animals do you think are killed by harvesting equipment? How about the number of dead caused by the protection of the crops? After all, a very effective way to protect your grains and such is to introduce natural predators into the area (which throws the entire area's ecosystem completely out of whack, I might add...). How many animals are turned into roadkill during the transport of the food?

Meat Wheat is murder.

At least I use the dead animals that are caused by my diet, you wasteful morons.  At least I don't live in a fantasy world where I try feverishly to convince myself, and worse, others, that my decisions of what I choose to eat and not eat is more ethical than somebody else's.

I used to get people like this all the time when I worked at Kroger.  These type of people would always come through my line with organic food, tofu, soy "milk", and other assorted bullcrap.  And they would always come with their own cloth bags, to help "save the environment."  Guess what?  You haven't saved jack.  Every time you came through my line, I crumpled up some bags (paper AND plastic) and threw them away, just out of spite.

Anyway, back to the food...

I don't have a problem with eating vegetables or anything.  Besides, naturally we were all vegetarians until after the Flood.  I have a salad every so often, because I know that the human body needs certain nutrients that can be found only in plants.  But I hate it.  In the immortal words of Ron White:  "If...you're a vegetarian, shaddup....I didn't climb to the top of the f***ing food chain to eat carrots."  But if you like grazing, more power to you.  Kandace is primarily vegetarian, because she just doesn't like meat.  And there's nothing wrong with that (besides the fact that once we're married, deciding what's for dinner will be interesting).  You eat what you like.

Just don't force you disgusting food on me, you elitist bastards.

The main thing I don't understand about divine evolution or whatever you want to call it is it completely dismantles the reason for Christianity. I mean, if man evolved, there was no Adam and Eve. Therefore there was no Original Sin. If there was no Original Sin, then there was no real prophecy for the Messiah, and therefore Jesus was either a fake or a liar. Also, if there was no Original Sin, there's no need for Christianity.

Besides, Jesus touched on this whole thing in Matthew 19: 4-6. ("And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder" (Which also touches on homosexuality being a sin, so YES Matt, he did.)) So obviously Jesus believed in the creation of man, and if you believe that man evolved, you don't believe what Jesus said and if you can't believe Him, you have no business being a Christian.

Another thing that bugs me about the whole compromise of evolution into Christianity is when people say "Bla bla bla bla bla...and besides, 'day' doesn't always mean a literal 24-hour period." Well, yeah, in ENGLISH, genius. And guess what Genesis was written in? That's right, Old Hebrew. Good Lord! In the original Hebrew, the word day is "yôm." "Yôm" occurs 2,300 times in the Old Testament, with 1,450 in the singular, 845 in the plural, and five in the dual form (two days). In all those instances it is restricted to only five meanings:

1. a period of light in a day/night cycle
2. a period of 24 hours
3. a general or vague concept of time
4. a specific point of time
5. a period of a year

Also, the only time in the OT that yôm is used as a period of time, it is heavily modified by other time indicators such as the words for year or month, and in those instances, it is the other time unit words that give the length of duration, not yôm.

ALSO...whenever "yôm" is used with numbers, ordinals (second, third, etc.), cardinals(one, two, three...), or articles, it means a literal 24-hour period. Also, any time the words 'ereb and boqer (evening and morning) are used with yôm, or the words layil and layla (day and night), it means a literal day.

Let's see what we got here in literal translations:

Genesis 1:5-"one day morning and was evining and was"
Genesis 1:8-"second day morning and was evening and was"
Genesis 1:13-"third day morning and was evening and was"
Genesis 1:19-"fourth day morning and was evening and was"
Genesis 1:23-"fifth day morning and was evening and was"
Genesis 1:31-"sixth day morning and was evening and was"
Genesis 2:2-"the seventh on day God and finished had he made which work his the seventh day on and He rested"

The pattern is enough to destroy so many arguments presented by day-age creationists.

An argument I love that people keep using is "Well, God says that a thousand years is like a day to Him." Very true. But it also says that a day is like a thousand years. II Peter 3:8-9-"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." Or howbout Psalm 90:4-"For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night."

Any time you use the "thousand year-day" statement, you destroy your own argument. Besides, we're only talking about a thousand years, not the millions/billions of years needed for accomodating evolution into the Bible.

A gaping flaw in the thinking of long-age creationists is that the order can't work.

The order of appearance for long-age creation of the universe (via Big Bang) is as follows: sun and stars existed before earth, sun is earth's first light, first life is marine organisms, reptiles predate birds, land mammals predate whales, and disease/death precede man. In the Bible, the order is Earth created before sun and stars, light on Earth before sun, first life is land plants, birds predate land reptiles, whales predate land mammals, and disease/death result because of man.

Obviously, these cannot be combined, they are too contradictory. This also brings up another interesting contradiction. If each day DID mean millions of years, then things would have to die. In the fossil record, which supposedly was caused by the millions of years of evolution and weather and such, there's evidence of cancer in bones, body diseases, and, of course, death. So yeah..."and God saw that is was good" (Genesis 1:25). And howbout Genesis 1:31? "And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good." So a billion-year-old planet that was built up after years and years and years of death, disease, killing, cancer, and other assorted bad things is "very good?" (tov) Right.

Another fun fact about the fossil record is the presense of thorny plants. What the heck? I thought those didn't exist until Genesis 3:18! "Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee."

I could go on forever talking about red shift formations, the earth's magnetic fields, sodium input/output into the sea, the nubular hypothesis, and all sorts of crap, but you guys probably aren't even reading this. So yeah, if you have any questions/arguments to try to rebut me, just leave a comement. I'll be happy to dismantle them for you. :)

Evolution is easy enought to prove wrong, and most "proof" for it is merely proof by way of perception. Most evidence for an old earth can also be taken as evidence for a young earth. It all depends on where you're viewing it from. For example, you can say that diamonds require a lot of pressure and heat to form. An evolutionist will say that's proof of an old earth, since it would take millions of years to form a diamond. A creationist will say that diamonds are proof for the Bible, and that many diamonds were formed during Noah's flood. After all, some people in Australia have developed a process that can make diamonds in two weeks. So don't be surprised if I take your evidence for evolution, and present a different point of view for it.

Also, pick up some books, notably Refuting Evolution, Refuting Evolution II, and Refuting Compromise. Another great resource is the Answers in Genesis webpage. Now go read so I can rest my weary eyes and fingers.

I'll leave you with a fun quote from Martin Luther. In his day (aahahahaha!! funny!), many church leaders believed that creation took place in one day. He responded with this: "When Moses writes that God created heaven and earth and whatever is in them in six days, then let this period continue to have been six days, and do not venture to devise any comment according to which six days were one day. But, if you cannot understand how this could have been done in six days, then grant the Holy Spirit the honor of being more learned than you are."

Okay, I'm getting sick of seeing this bulletin in my myspace inbox thingie.  STOP SENDING IT!!! IT SHOWS REAL IGNORANCE ON YOUR PART!!

"We're paying almost four dollars a gallon for gas, there's a national disaster, and the president is on vacation, there's a war, but all W wants to talk about is golf, and there's a general depression in everyone's face.

Who does George W. Bush think he is? He's off enjoying himself while the southeastern half of the country is in mortal peril, and the rest of the country is in financial devistation, what with gas prices, and everything else. I don't see how much longer we can last under his reign of terror.

--I don't know if any of you agree or not, but if you do, repost this, but add something to it, give it your own opinion.--"

Yeah....vacation.  Since your definition of "vacation" is the only one you know of, that MUST be what he's doing.  Heck, in the UK, I don't think the word has much of a use.  We say "holiday" to mean "vacation."  Just because you have a definition means one thing to you, assuming that word means the same to everybody is just plain freakin arrogant.

Just because he goes home for a while means he's sitting on his back deck, reading a newspaper and sipping margaritas.  The guy hates working at the White House and prefers to do his stuff at home.  Hey, he's the prez.  He can do that if he wants.  Just because you turn on the news and he's talking about his golf game or whatnot, does NOT mean that's all he's doing.  I vote we pass a bill saying all presidents must have a webcam around them at all times in the office so maybe people will comprehend that it's not all fun and games.  Besides, it's a stressful job, being the president.  And apparently having several years work in politics makes people dumber and dumber, which would explain why the good majority of presidents enjoy golf.  They've become so moronic that they think it's actually fun.

"There's a war."  Wow. What a vague statement.  No crap there's a war.  Is he supposed to totally reign over it?  Ever heard of Veitnam?  Presidents called air strikes instead of the high generals, proving to the world that politicians are dumb, especially when it comes to military.  I'm getting sick of the war too, believe me.  But we're there now; we're going to be there a while because if you stop building a house when the foundation is only half-built...it's gonna fall down.  And God-forbid should the next president order a full removal of US troops, I truly pity the poor John Does that'll get run over by ragheads with RPGs.  Anyway, all the president has to do in this "there's a war" statement is listen to his military advisors who say "hey, we need more _____" and then do it.

$4 gallon gas.  Yup.  That really does suck for those of you who drive.  Hey genius...when's the last time you checked the air pressure in your tires, turned down the air conditioning a little bit, carpooled, walked/rode your bike instead of driving for 3 minutes, taken public transportation, etc.  Of course you haven't.  You're too busy complaining.  Besides, what the heck is Bush supposed to do?  Yeah, he released the reserves.  But yeah, big deal.  People (i.e. you) think this is good.  Congratulations, you get an A+ in ignorance.  The reserves will last us about two days.  After that, there's not much he can do about the whole thing.  He's negotiated and all that stuff, but all you ever choose to see is golf.  There is one thing he could do, and that's ask Congress to declare war on the OPEC.  But it's not like that's gonna happen.  Besides, I love the fact that you're complaining about gas prices, since this whole war was "a war for oil."

What national disaster?  It's localized.  Way to try to trump it up.  You almost slipped that one past me.  First, it's not his responsibilty.  It first rests on the shoulders of the governor before being passed to the president.  So it's not his fault that he's following one of the primary statutes of the Constitution:  STATES' RIGHTS!!!  And to morons like Michael Moore.  WE HAVE MEN AND EQUIPMENT DOWN THERE!!!  IT'S BEEN THIS WAY FOR A WHILE!!!  You should all shut your piehole for three minutes and LOOK STUFF UP before you say it.

Yay! Ignorance! Honor roll!!

"There's a general depression in everyone's face"  WHERE!?!?!? WHERE IN THE FREAKING COUNTRY IS THERE A DEPRESSION?!!?!?  HAVE YOU EVER LOOKED UP THE FINANCIAL SECTION OF THE NEWSPAPER AND LOOKED AT THOSE MAGICAL LITTLE NUMBERS AND PERCENTAGES ETC????????  Granted, things are not perfect, and could greatly use some improvement.  BUT!  We're on the rebound, and you would know this if you would read a newspaper instead of the moveon.org homepage.  Things have been slowing going down the crapper for a while now (no thanks to Clinton).  If any of you morons ever took an economics class, you would know that effects on the economy AREN'T IMMEDIATE!!! They can take up to several years to take effect.  This inflation problem you keep touting around ISN'T BECAUSE OF BUSH!!!!  It actually started in '98.  That means Clinton was in office for several years, and was coasting on the sometimes-accidental boons of Bush Sr. for the first couple years of his presidency.  So the inflation started around 1995 and we didn't have a real inflationary problem for about three years.

Oh, and "devastation" has two "a's" and one "i," numbnuts.

And, now, my favorite part of the post:  "I don't see how much longer we can last under his reign of terror."

You are truly amazing, and I applaud you for making me laugh so much.  "Reign of terror"?  Yeah, you know, since he re-instituted slavery, prima noctis, controlled genocide, planned another Crusade, started his own Inquisition in Texas, prepared armies in the north to attack Quebec and Ottawa, and other atrocious acts.

Seriously, is anybody in mortal fear for his life or something he holds dear?  If you are, my apologies, I didn't realize that people as fragile as you existed.  I'll admit I'm a little wary about Bush, since he's not the brightest crayon in the box, but hey, what president in the past century was smart?  So logically, you only fear his policies.  And you only have reason to fear those if you're an abortionist or woman that wants one, or if you're "rooty-tooty fresh 'n fruity."  Those of you who think you're in a reign of terror are merely experiencing collective aggravation of having his prez for so long, and from people like me annoying the crap out of you, and proving you wrong every day I'm conscious.

Maybe I'm just mentally adding something to this sentence, but I dunno, "I don't know if any of you agree or not, but if you do, repost this, but add something to it, give it your own opinion."  The way this came across to me was "Hey, if you agree with me, pass this along and add your own thoughts, but if you disagree, shut up!"  But maybe I'm just thinking of this the wrong way.  But still, it sure does seem to say that.

The whole bulletin pisses me off, not only because of the points I touched, but it shows how illogical people are.  Blaming everything on Bush is a HUGE logical fallacy.  I don't remember its whole name, but it's an offshoot of the post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy ("after this therefore because of this" fallacy).  So, just because Bush is president, DOESN'T MEAN EVERYTHING IS HIS FAULT.  See, we have this magical branch of government called the "Congress," which doesn't do SQUAT.  But even in light of this fact, some blame for the "horrible state our country is in" is actually your and my fault.  So stop whining about how bad Bush (supposedly) is and start doing stuff to lower gas prices and such.

So, do us all a favor and get yourself some education, preferably some logic, economics, history of the Constitution, political science, and American history.  You'll thank me after you realize how asinine you've been.  Also, be a little optimistic for once.  That's one of the biggest things that pisses me off about the left.  It's seems to always be doom and gloom out of these people's mouths.

But before I post this, I wanna point out that I'm not a "Bushie" or whatever they're called.  I like the guy less and less every day, but I agree with most of his ideology.  But mostly I like to have my own interpretation of the new "11th Commandment."  You know, "Thou shalt be nice."  I'm just taking a neutral stance and showing how messed up some people's thinking is.

Just think of me as a non-violent modern-day version of the "Hak'en"
