All of my painted rocks are hand chosen river rocks.  The only changes I make to the rocks I find is the paint...no fillers are added to change their shape.  These works-of-arts are 1-of-a-kind.

If you are interested in learning how to paint rocks of your own...my best advise is have fun,  never be afraid that it won't turn out right, every piece is individualized and takes form at the touch of the artist brush to the canvas (or rock in this case). There is a creative monster that lives within us all....never be afraid to unleash the monster inside you.  Email me  for a complete list of supplies you will need, and some advice on what shape a rock should or could look like before the paint is added.  Thanks for taking a walk through my  site.

All of my rocks are given 5 coats of a protectant which prevents  harmful  UV rays and changing weather conditions from causing paint to fade, chip or peel.

Display them indoors or out.

These types of rocks are perhaps the hardest to find. The first time I saw one I could only think of birds nest....and so I have been painting each and everyone I can get my hands on. The small eggs are also rocks and I can paint just about any type of birds egg you like, robins, sparrow, etc. This makes a great paperweight.
