| Count your blessings, name them one by one...This weekend we had the blessing of being able to go out to Amherst and paint some of the classrooms in the church building. The Lord has given me an amazing gift in the AIM students, and assistances that I get to work with! It's so nice to have a job to do, and a purpose in what I'm doing. I keep praying that what I do will be used by Him to affect these people's lives for His kingdom! :: smiles :: He's given me such a wonderful life! I feel so incredibly blessed!

| A Fish Out of WaterI've been back in America for three weeks now. It still seems weird when I hear people outside of my immediate conversation speaking english. I still wonder if black people are African (which one of my school-mates this year is). And I feel completely like a fish out of water. I'm learning.
I miss my family in France. I feel helpless when I can't be with them, and help them when they need something. In that, I am learning to trust God's providing hand. (Not that He needs my trust to be able to work.) At the same time, I'm so happy to be here. I have amazing friends, and sisters and brothers here! Sometimes I don't know why God has blessed me with the people He has. Even though I don't understand, and I am happy!
Learning to be content in all circumstances is difficult. :: smiles :: I guess life wouldn't be quite as "interesting" if things were always easy.

| Beth and Tony:: smiles :: Beth and Tony are going to be getting married soon. I wanted to share with you some of the photos I got to take of them the other day. They are such wonderful people, and I am so happy to have them, not only as my friends, but also as my sister and brother. God is so good to provide amazing people in our lives.

| The Starting LineSchool has started again. I am really enjoying the year thus far. The new AIM class is here, and they are all very unique and special people (and I mean that in a good way). Classes are wonderful. I am taking Gibby's track over Family and Youth Ministry and sincerely appreciate the perspective that children can not be raised into Christianity without the direct involvement of the family. Are we not called to be a family? School is also different this year. There are a few people I miss very dearly who are not here and I wish they were. It is a selfish thing for me to wish because I know they are where they need to be, but I wish they were here all the same. (I'm sure I'll get over it eventually. :: smiles :: ) Please keep Diana in your prayers. Some of you know that her house was broken into and that a few of her teammates have left/are leaving. She's not having the easiest of times, but she is staying positive. Please pray that she continues to put her faith in God through all the trials. And April, my other little sister in engaged to Eric. We're very happy for them! And we're looking forward to wedding early next year. Also, my brother is going to have a baby (or at least his wife will be actually having him.) I'm going to be an aunt! Happiness! (so Lord willing I'll be going to Arkansas to see them soon!)
Well, this is me leaving. I haven't had a computer for the last few days since mine is in the shop, but hopefully I'll have it back soon. May God bless you all with peace and strength. | | |
| Do you ever feel like your heart is tied up in knots and that you can't breath for fear of crying? Yeah...me neither... :: winks ::
