I love simple days where the things that matter the most are :

1. sitting in sunshine
2. phone call from friends
3. supper in the oven
4. no where to go unless I want to....
5. quiet in the silence
6. being still and knowing God
7. laughter over a cup of tea
8. time to smell the coffee
9. weather man is wrong
10. dogs wagging their hearts with their TAIL

I like those kind of days, too! I am glad you are getting some sunshine there. Is the snow gone now? A dog's tell DOES express his heart, doesn't it? I never thought of it like that.

That is a wonderful kind of day, my sister...It reminds me of a Scripture I have been pondering a lot lately..."I have stilled and quieted my soul...Like a weaned child with its mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me. O Israel, hope your hope in the Lord both now and forevermore."
