	A 5-year nightmare Well... where do we start? Is there any chance of waking up tomorrow to find out this was just a bad nightmare? I'm scared. Really scared. But wait a minute, you won't get away that easily. I feel a sense of citizenship growing among many people who won't just sit down and let 5 years go by. It's weird how fear makes you wanna do so much more.

I figured that that guy would win big in France. That sucks. It would have been kind of odd to see France go from a conservative like Chirac to a socialist. It would have been a huge change.

That is true that fear is a big motivator. Seriously, I was thinking about it and I don't think I could ever get energized for an election again like I did in 2004. It was like the fear of George Bush that energized everyone so much and we seriously couldn't ever do worse them him unless the Republicans picked Satan as their presidential nominee or something.
