This past year has been quite an educational experience for me in so many ways.  I have appreciated your patience and support as I coached with zero experience in Bible Quizzing.  I especially enjoyed getting to know so many of you better and, of course, watching you (quizzers) become more confident in the book of Matthew individually and as a team.

 

I'm writing to tell you that I've decided to step down as a Bible Quiz coach.  After a lot of prayer and thought, I've come to the conclusion that I would fit better in other ministries within our church.  This is not a bad thing! As a body, the church has a lot of needs and areas for ministry and I have confidence in the coaches that will stay, as well as hope that there will be more volunteers for next year. 

Please accept this as my official resignation and a statement of my intention to no longer be involved with Bible Quizzing once this season's tournaments are over.  I do plan to continue being involved with youth ministry and will look forward to supporting the BQ team(s) whenever possible.
