I walk into my room today after coming home from work to find a skateboard lying in the corner. My sister and her boyfriend actually got me one for my birthday. I didn't know if she was being serious when she told me they were going to get me one, but just having one in my room again brings back old memories of when I was 15. It feels somewhat comforting actually. I feel like a kid again.

yeah, i got the email too. but the u.s. dates were mentioned on all the online music rags a week or two ago. i think l.a. is the only city with two dates. santa monica civic is usually seated i think, but the mbv shows are confirmed standing g.a. going to both; my ears will be destroyed by the end of the first show.
