| Hong Kong International Airport. Had the most fantastic time in Hong Kong, enjoyed all the Chinese New Year food and the company of my family and friends. It was great to see you all, and feel so lucky that I can call both Hong Kong and London my home.
Will miss you all! Now going back to my second home, and to face more work... but now I will take this as a challenge and a great learning opportunity. Hope I won't lose this enthusiasm too soon.
| Happy New Year! Wish you all the best for the Year of Dog. Now officially on holiday, back in Hong Kong.
Had huge dinner with the extended family at my cousin's place @
Discovery Bay. As our tradition goes, it's major pigging out time for
the whole period of Chinese New Year. Also met my other cousin's new
bride. So happy for them.
Will be a crazy schedule visiting family and friends. People drop me an email hope to meet up with you all. patricia_li@ml.com

| It's been a long time. Just a little bit more than 6 momths ago, I
finished my life as a student, and embarked on a journey called work.
Met a lot of new people, travelled a little, and seems that I still
remain unscathed after all.
Lovely work-free weekend. Went to Tate Modern with Ren for the Henri
Rousseau exhibition. Love his use of blocks of vibrant colours and it's
almost striking. Saw the same painting as the one I saw at the Met this
summer, only that things changed so much since I last saw the painting.
Immersed myself in a moment of artistic appreciation.
Jazz dance class as usual, part of my Sunday routine. Then it was
Brokeback Mountain. Still thinking about the various messages it was
trying to convey.
Going home in 4 days time. Hoping to catch up with my friends, and
spend time with my family.

| Boxing Day. Hope everyone had a wonderful time over Christmas.
Spent the afternoon in the office on operating model. Slightly
satisfied with progress. Thanks to Carmen for invitation to her new
place and the lunch. Then had okonomi yaki @ Abeno in Covent Garden
with friends for dinner, and fantastic dessert @ Garfunkel's. Never
realised they do such good dessert.
The annual Christmas fun fair in Leicester Square is still on. The joy,
the laughter, and the light. Plus my favourite merry-go-round (adult
version, since it was literally spinning like mad).
On the way home bought myself a little bit of something:
Jack Johnson - In Between Dreams
Missy Elliott - The Cookbook
Nina Simone - The Essential Collection
Norah Jones - Come Away with Me
No music, no life. This is what keeps me smiling every day. The talent of these people always inspire me.

| Merry Christmas. Now in Oxford.
Had one of the best birthday so far. Vienna + Brastislava last weekend felt so refreshed. And thanks to all my travel buddies who made it such a fun trip.
The travel bug has certainly got me.
